(Lo paused for a long moment. Staring blankly at the fair. He groaned and dropped his head.)

I don’t know.

(Alekzander let out a sigh.)

Of course.

(Alekzander thought for a moment. Only for a moment until he thought of an idea.)

You know what, I’ll pay for it. Least I can do since you’re giving me a new place to live!

(Lo looked up at alekzander. A bit of guilt can be seen on his face.)

Oh, no, you don’t have t-

(Alekzander yet again cut Lo off.)

Nope! Already decided! And there is nothing you can do to change my mind!

(Lo again tried to reason with alekzander. Only to be cut off again.)

No, you really-

Nah, ain’t budging.

(Alekzander crossed his arms. Almost as if showing that he wasn’t going to change his mind. Lo simply dropped his head again. Seeming to give up. Silence drew back into the air again.)

(It didn’t take long for alekzander to decide he had enough time outside. He hopped down from the wall. Speaking to Lo as he walked.)

Ima head back to bed. You should as well!

(Lo turned back to look at alekzander. Giving a response as his eyes locked onto Alekzander.)

Oh, okay. I’ll be there in a sec.

(Alekzander then walked through the door. Disappearing back downstairs.)

(Lo simply stood there for a moment. Not even thinking about anything. Just, staring at the city. Its beautiful colors stunned him. He’s never seen anything like this. How could he? Being trapped in that void for 11 years. He decided to stay there for a moment. Just to enjoy it. Only after, did he too decide to go to bed.)

(The two sat in silence after the agreement. Though, it didn’t last long. Alekzander being the one to break the silence.)

Hey, you said something about a fair, right?

(Lo simply nodded his head.)

Do you wanna go to that one?

(Alekzander nodded his head towards the fair behind them. Lo didn’t take long to answer his question.)

Yeah! Me and Amber were planing on finding one to go to while we were here!

(It was a nice idea. Though, alekzander could only find one problem with the plan.)

So, how do you plan to pay for it then?

(Alekzander gave a hum. On one hand he basically just met this kid. On the other, he did say he’d basically take any chance to get away from this place. This place he despised. This place he has hated ever since he entered. Even then, this kid seemed trust worthy. It was a chance he was willing to take.)

You know what, sure. I’ll take you up on your offer.

(Lo’s face lit up at that.)

REALLY? THATS GREA-

(Before Lo could finish. Alekzander cut him off.)

BUT! I need to finish something before I leave. Then, and ONLY THEN, will I leave.

(Lo was stunned by being cut off. Despite that, Lo nodded his head at what alekzander said.)

Alright then!

(Lo cocked an eyebrow at what alekzander said.)

I mean, if you’re really wanna, then you can come and live with me!

(Alekzander was a little taken aback by that. Though, he was curious about Lo’s offer.)

Where do you even live?… if, you don’t mind me asking.

(Lo have a hum, almost as if asking what he had said. Despite that, he still answered him.)

Oh, it’s like, just a white void. There’s a dark abyss next to it where Amber used to be but now she lives at my house that I created.

(Lo gave a big smile at Alekzander who had hoisted himself onto the wall to sit on it. Alekzander gave an interested hum.)

And I won’t go insane if I enter your “white void”, will I?

(Lo shook his head.)

Nah, it’s the dark abyss that you’d need to worry about entering.

(Alekzander was of course curious about the “black void.”)

Is it like, invisible orrrrr?

(Lo shook his head.)

Nah, it’s very obvious. Shouldn’t be a problem!

(Lo gave alekzander a thumbs up added with a smile.)

(Lo cocked an eyebrow at what alekzander said.)

I mean, if you’re really wanna, then you can come and live with me!

It’s fine man, don’t worry about it.

(He the looked out into the city. It looked beautiful at night. All the colors of the city danced in the night. Almost like a symphony of light. It was beautiful. Well, at least to Lo it was.)

The city is beautiful.

(He looked a little closer. As he did, he spotted a Ferris wheel. Accompanied with other amusement park activities. He then immediately pointed to it in excitement.)

AND LOOK A FAIR!

(Alekzander almost basically ignored Lo’s second statement. Deciding to give his opinion on the first statement instead.)

Honestly, I hate it. It’s horrible.

(Alekzander turned to look at the city.)

The people, the places, the businesses. It’s all shitty!

(Alekzander thought for a moment. Taking a semi-deep breath in.)

It’s beautiful don’t get me wrong. But, with all the shit that goes on. Cant help but hate it.

If I could get away from all this (he waved his hand around the general area of the city.) I’d take any chance I could.

(Of course, this startled alekzander. He jumped to turn to Lo.)

AHHHH!

(Once he realized it was Lo, he seemed to try and hide something behind his back.)

Where did you come from?! I thought you were asleep!

(Lo shrugged his shoulders.)

Was, you accidentally woke me up.

(Lo walked up to Alekzander. Lo rested his arms on the very short walls. Alekzander spoke as Lo walked to the wall.)

Oh, sorry, didn’t mean to.

(It didn’t take long for Lo to reach the roof. As he reached the top, the door seemingly opened for him. Strange, oh well. As he suspected, the man he was looking for was right in front of him. Seemingly murmuring to himself. Lo walked up to him. Deciding to ask what was going on.)

Hey, you good man? What are you doing up here?

(It didn’t take long for Lo to reach the roof. As he reached the top, the door seemingly opened for him. Strange, oh well. As he suspected, the man he was looking for was right in front of him. Seemingly murmuring to himself. Lo walked up to him. Deciding to ask what was going on.)

Hey, you good man? What are you doing up here?

(As Lo walked out of the apartment. He walked up to the glass railing at the end of the staircase. Looking out at the parking lot. Thankfully, Alekzanders car was still there.)

(Lo could hear murmuring above him. Being at the top floor, next to the apartment roof. It would make sense for the man he’s looking for is up there. So, instead of checking the every apartment complex. Lo decided to go to the obvious answer.)

(Lo looked back down the hallway. The obvious answer staring right at him. He walked back down the hallway. Walking up to the front door. He opened the front door. Before leaving, he looked back at Amber. She was thankfully still sound asleep. He then exit through the front door. Making sure to make as little noise as possible.)

(It was random, and certainly not faint. The sound of a door closing woke Lo up. He rose from where he was lying. Looking around. Trying to figure out what happened.)

(He looked down to see Amber sound asleep. He sighed, and got up out of the bed. He walked around the apartment. Going to Alekzanders room, only to find his door wide open and Alekzander missing.)

(It was random, and certainly not faint. The sound of a door closing woke Lo up. He rose from where he was lying. Looking around. Trying to figure out what happened.)

(He looked down to see Amber sound asleep. He sighed, and got up out of the bed. He walked around the apartment. Going to Alekzanders room, only to find his door wide open and Alekzander missing.)

(Lo too struggled to pull out the bed. Amber rolled her eyes at the sight of his struggle. Deciding to crack a joke.)

My knight in shining armor, huh?

(Lo was of course confused by the fact the bed wouldn’t budge. Giving a confused hum as well. He began looking around the couch. Possibly trying to find something that is latched on or holding it down.)

(Amber looked rather confused by this.)

What are you trying to do?

(Lo hummed. He looked back at Amber.)

Trying to see if it’s held down or something.

(Amber nodded her head to the left.)

It’s possible.

(As Lo was looking around the couch. He found what seemed to be a button on the far left side of the couch. He gave a curious hum at it.)

What’s this.

(He then pressed said button. What happened next amazed both Lo and Amber. The pull out bed seemed to be unfolding itself.)

(Rather strange, but it is the future after all. Lo looked back at Amber. Giving a slightly devious grin.)

I am a knight in shining armor. thank you very much.

(Amber snickered and rolled her eyes at Lo.)

Uh huh.

(Lo too snickered to himself. Once the bed had fully unfolded, Amber flopped onto it. Attempting to get comfortable. Lo on the other hand had walked over into the kitchen. He grabbed the tray that held a good amount of chicken nuggets. About enough to get both him and Amber full. As he walked out of the kitchen holding the tray, alekzander had walked down the hallway holding some sheets, a big grey blanket, and 2 pillows.)

(Lo of course noticed this.)

Oh, perfect timing. We just got the bed unfolded!

(Amber, who had just gotten comfortable, let out a groan after noticing alekzander with the bedding. Without being told, she had gotten up from where she was lying.)

(Amber gently took the bedding out of alekzanders hands. She began preparing the bed. Lo simply stood by holding the tray of chicken nuggets. Alekzander was confused by Lo just standing and not helping. Deciding to question him on the matter.)

Aren’t you gonna help her?

(His tone didn’t sound angry. Just more curious if anything. Lo’s eyes flicked towards alekzander. He shrugged his shoulders before flicking his eyes back at what Amber was doing.)

I never learned how to. she usually does stuff like this.

(That only peaked alekzanders curiosity more. Though, he decided not to question beyond that. Alekzander began walking away. As he did decided to tell Lo something.)

Maybe I’ll teach you later. Though, ima go to bed. Goodnight to the both of you.

(Lo let out a hum of acknowledgment. As he walked away Amber had finished setting up the bed.)

Done.

(She laid back down onto the bed. Practically flopping onto it again. Lo set the tray of nuggets at the foot of the bed. Lo found a remote lying on the island. He grabbed it before going and sitting on the left side of the bed. The dog, Cassie, had found her way onto the bed. She was cuddled up a little to Amber. Guess alekzander forgot to get his dog before going to bed.)

(Lo began to put something on the tv. It didn’t take him long to find an interesting looking movie.)

(Nothing much happened the rest of the night. Amber and Lo simply stayed up watching a movie and eating chicken nuggets. Both ended up doing to sleep at around 2330.)

(Lo, was of course curious. He got up from his seat and walked over to the kitchen. Finding the tray alekzander was talking about. He hummed before turning back to Amber.)

Let’s get that pull out bed out, yeah?

(Amber silently nodded her head. Lo started down the hallway. As Lo reached Alekzanders door, he remembered what Alekzander told him. In return he knocked on the door instead of barging in. Alekzander quickly responded to the knocking.)

Come in!

(After hearing Alekzanders response, Lo opened the door to his room.)

Hey, do you have any spare blankets for me and Amber?

(Alekzander gave a soft hum of thought.)

I should. I’ll bring em out to you in a sec.

(Lo nodded his head. Leaving to go back down the hallway.)

(As he entered the living room again. He saw Amber seemingly struggle to pull out the bed. Lo snickered at her.)

Need some help there?

(Amber looked up at him. She seemed reluctant at first. Though, after some brief consideration agreed to Lo’s offer.)

(Lo, was of course curious. He got up from his seat and walked over to the kitchen. Finding the tray alekzander was talking about. He hummed before turning back to Amber.)

Let’s get that pull out bed out, yeah?

(He sunk in on himself. Possibly preparing himself for the worst. Amber, was of course mad. How could she not be? Though, not wanting to hurt Lo decided to be gentle about it.)

Just, please, next time tell me the truth. Mkay?

(Lo relaxed a little at Ambers tone. He was thankful he wasn’t about to be torn into. So, with that he decided to agree. Sighing before he did so.)

Fine, I promise I will.

(Not long after, Alekzander took what he was cooking out of the oven. Making sure to make a plate for himself. Though, there still being some food on the tray. As he began walking to his room he decided to tell the other two about the food on the tray.)

There’s nuggets in the kitchen if either of you are hungry.

(Alekzander then simply walked back down the hall. Disappearing into his room once again.)

(As Alekzander walked off, Lo decided to answer Ambers question with a question of his own.)

What’s so bad about it?

(Amber, was slightly surprised and token back by this. Though, it didn’t take her long to remember that fact Lo knows nothing about society. So, she decided to let the whole thing go.)

Never mind, it doesn’t matter.

(She gently shook her head as she spoke. Lo was confused by this. Though, not really knowing what to say decided to let it go as well.)

(Though, there was something Amber wasn’t willing to let go. She pointed at Lo at the beginning of her question.)

Why did you lie to me about zephyr?!

(The two turned back to look at alekzander. Lo didn’t seem concerned. He shrugged his shoulders at it.)

I’m fine with that.

(Amber, on the other hand wasn’t as willing. Making sure to be verbal about it. Looking back at Lo as she talked.)

What? You’re fine with that?

(Alekzander rolled his eyes again. He waved his hand at the two.)

You two figure that out. Ima get some food.

(He then walked into the kitchen, looking around for food to eat.)

(At around 1900, Alekzander decided to join the two out in the living room. He decided to ask the two a question as he entered the living room.)

Are the two of you staying here for the night then?

(Both Lo and Amber looked at each other for a moment. Both looking back at alekzander, shrugging. Alekzander sighed at that.)

Well, since zephyr is KIA. The two of you can stay with me for the time being.
