In the photos is the only working dragon kiln remains in Shiwan, built from the Ming Dynasty over 400 years ago. The kiln was being loaded when we visited!! How excited!! Good luck to the firing potters! #pottery #kiln #ancient #sightseeing #china

Met a lady whom makes plum wine that happens to love ceramic. She showed me some of her collection from Long Quan Kiln in China. Long Quan means dragon fountain, this type of kiln was established since the Three Kingdoms era (over 1,700 years ago), best known of their minimalistic decoration with light turquoise glaze. Tomorrow we are heading to Shanghai! #traveling #china #holiday (at Zhujiajiao Ancient town)
