i know we're all talking about buck burrowing into eddie's shoulder and the smushed ears and for good reason but i don't think we're talking enough about how eddie is leaning his head against buck's. like he's the one actively smushing their ears together.

there was SO much brewing between eddie and buck in that goodbye, so much that had to be left to just simmer. the awkwardness. the reluctance. eddie making sure buck knows he is important and he will be missed. buck's heart visibly breaking. the love they gotta bite down. how hard this is, more than they expected. im gonna crash out worse than buck goddamn.
