Oh I made some much needed improvements to it! All of them to suit my amazing plan. You see Jake, Despair is like a two way thing, you can either enjoy your own, or enjoy someone else’s! So in order to insure despair, I’ve created this little game. We’re going to have a trial Jake, your trial! If you’re found guilty, then you’ll be punished! But if you’re found innocent, I’ll be punished! It insures Despair either way! If you die, I’ll feel the despair of your death, knowing that I truly am, and will always be a monster! But if I die, then I’ll feel your despair! Knowing that you were responsible for the death of your friend! Or maybe you won’t, I already told you that I’m not myself Jake! But even now knowing that there’s a flaw in my plan is even MORE despairing! So, Jake English, are you ready for this, the most excellent of trials! It’s time for a battle of Hope and Despair!

No longer just a normal bottom floor, it had been remade to look like some sort of twisted courtroom, with podiums arranged in a circular area* *Standing at what appeared to be the judges chair, was an all too familiar face* Jake! Buddy old pal I’m so glad you could make it!
