Day 3: seagull. I had a little trouble making the beak part even, he paper felt thick towards the end. However, this reminded me of a really odd existential book I read in the 8th grade called Johnathan Livingston Seagull, and I had to look it up to remember the plot details. I think I'd appreciate it now more than I did then. For Christmas, my mom got me a page a day origami calendar. I haven't had one of these since I was a kid, and it's already bringing back so many memories. I'm not one for New Years resolutions, but I'm excited to know that every day I'll be able to make something and share it with my friends!
