I wanted to do Swingy but I didn't like how he turned out

What I want is not a dating sim, but a matchmaking sim. Like there’s still an awesome cast of characters but instead of you dating them, you help them get together with each other! It would be perfect for people like me who don’t want to interact directly in a romantic way but absolutely LOVE shipping. And there are no right or wrong pairings, because each one is a different ending! Idk just a thought

I’ve never played Date Everything because my aroacespec ass is not comfortable with an entire house full of charmingly attractive idiots trying to romance me. However I do love the concept, and the character designs, and the fact that if you wanna make an OC all you have to do is look to your left and jot down the first thing you see. Or just the first object that pops into your head.

Having said this, I have some OC ideas (donut steel, etc). And if some of these are too close to in-game characters please lmk because again, I haven’t played the game lmao

GARDENIA—flower garden (she/they). Plus-size high femme. Very sweet, but is incredibly particular about even the most minute things.

PATRICIA—patio furniture (she/her). Casual MILF. A huge gossip who knows everyone’s crushes. Loves birdwatching.

PARIS SOL—umbrella (they/them). Skinny and androgynous. Loves thunderstorms. Is very protective but not in a creepy way.

MO—lawnmower (he/him). Bear. Secretly an intellectual who hates his job. Struggling with an identity crisis. Loves animals.

ARCHIE—archery set (he/they). Short and enthusiastic. You actually Can’t romance this one— the only options are friendship or hate! get it. bc they’re. he’s aro. i’ll see myself out
