Anyway more on Apollo's 7 hour long video essay on folk medicine, I mentioned 2 scenes in it involving his sons and well.

TLDR Apollo got stung by bees. Godly bees so he can't just magically heal himself. Aristaios apologises with honey tea and a plate of cookies. (he probably made a tifw post later that day telling the story of how his dad got attacked by his bees).

Ascelpius is woken up 10 mins after he goes to sleep at 3:45am bleary eyed to have a zoom call with his 'manically inspired' dad. He's got a glass of water, cause of course you have to have a glass of water at 3:45 am. Apollo is too excited and forgot that even gods have to sleep.

I tried to draw Apollo and, dude is so, like. He's like a bit masc, a bit fem, a bit twink, a bit not, attractive like an enigma and charming like freshly dried laundry. I know that I can technically portray him however which way I want but I also feel like if I do it wrong I would be smote for being blasphemous.

Anyway I think, hope and pray that Lester would be easier to draw.

ToApril Day 30— Sunset on the Horizon

Apollo and his family (of course, it's not everyone, but I can only fit so many people on the cabin seven roof) - winged Apollo still not my own idea, still based off Ukelele-boy's design

Final day!!! I'm feeling really proud of myself for holding on this long. This month was probably the most artistically productive I've been in a while- though I didn't make a piece for every prompt. Admittedly, I did overcommit and burn out a little by the end trying to juggle school and this, but I still had a great time, and I really appreciated everyone's support and the lovely things people had to say in the reblogs. I've also pushed myself to draw things I normally wouldn't for this, and I'm super glad to have been able to branch out a little. That being said, I'm super proud of this piece, and glad that I decided to challenge myself with a more complex background and composition than I usualy draw, as well as messing with the lighting.

Ps. I will make something for every prompt in the following months, though not at this intensity because I need a friggin break
