WEEKLY ENCORE 2022 – Week 5 (January 31- February 6)

Happy Spring Festival to those who celebrate ahgases!

We are now in February and our boys are busy as ever. What have they done this week? Lets check out!

 Starting off with our leader, Jaebeom’s R&B radio was pre-recorded this week due to new years, his guest was Coogi who just recently signed with AOMG.

Jay B seems to be enjoying his holidays with his parents otherwise, sharing pictures from their yoghurt place. Throughout the week he continued to share pictures with us with quite artistic shots and even two throwback pictures from when he was in the previous company. Seems like someone is bitten by the nostalgia bug this Sunday.

Earlier this week, there were reports that JB was seen in studio and he was rumoured to be one of the jury in Kakao TVs new trainee survival show. Nothing is confirmed yet but it will be interesting to watch him as a jury. I personally think he will be honest but soft and sweet, what do you think?

 Mark also wished everyone a happy (Chinese) new year on Weibo. We also got to see him with his family, happy and relaxed and looking nice in a red sweater.

We also got a photo from Mark’s studio. It seems he spend a lot of time in his studio, from making music to catching up on anime and such.

Mark streamed on twitch this week too. To those who tuned in he shared a bit on what he was up to, from a photoshoot he had earlier to talking about how he missed the members. He also playfully scolded ahgases, defending Bambam for spoiling the GOT7 comeback, saying Bambam only provided fact he didn’t spoil anything. How cute of him. Well somebody needed to have Bambam’s back.

Bambam himself called in during the stream. Is this a new tradition of them?

Mark also happily shared photos of his song in Spotify Korea all around Seoul on billboards it seems.

  Jackson was busy with performances this week, from Spring Festival Gala to Double Happiness. We got to listen to LMLY and Drive You Home Live again.

While busy, Jackson also shared his new years with his family after many, many years. He is definitely excited to be finally together after all that time. The boys are now free to share their holidays with their families, so happy for them.

We also got another Know Me episode from Jackson, showing us behind the scenes of Double Happiness performance.

As busy as Jackson has been, earlier this week he shared a tweet saying he had to better. We can’t know what’s going on behind the scenes and how he is feeling but we can say Jackson has been phenomenal, he gave us so many great songs and performances, he’s been in many, many variety and reality shows, he participated in events and projects with many other big name artist. He has achieved quite a lot. Many birds seemed to be concerned as well so they took it to trend a hashtag for Jackson: We love you Jackson. How beautiful is that! I hope Jackson has seen it. We really love you Jackson.

Jinyoung seems to be practicing his ninja skills this week instead of the maknae. We didn’t get anything from him. However The Devil Judge selected as the best Korean Series by WETV Thailand. Congratulations to him and the rest of the cast and crew.

Another update for The Devil Judge, Mnet will be airing the series from Monday to Friday, starting on the 23rd.

From the looks of it Youngjae had a busy week.

He started the week by sharing a bird made with footprints in snow, wishing the ahgases a happy new year.

Youngjae updated us on his MBTI since twitter birds were pretty sure his was changed as well. Apparently we were wrong, Youngjae is still an INFP. This prompted bambam to respond that his MBTI is “SEXY-A” and “CUTE”.

While Youngjae didn’t look like he responded to Bambam he did chat with ahgases on twitter a bit. He also took to share a few pictures of himself on Universe app.

In other news Youngjae’s Welcoming kit started arriving, many ahgases are sharing pictures and videos of their unboxing. Congrats to all who managed to get one!

We got a story from Boytoy with Coco, and then a soundless video from Youngjae. Apparently he is working on new music in the studio. Is it a solo or is it for GOT7 this time? We don’t know, only time will tell. But we are up for a CYJ2 as much as a GOT7 comeback.

This week marks the end of Daldi on Dream Radio. While time flew by he gave us a lot of fun moments and we are grateful. He had flowers throughout the week and on Sunday he was given a bouquet and cake as a goodbye. Until we meet again Daldi!

Bambam shared a Vlog of his time in Thailand with family. The short video is so wholesome, but our favourite moment has to be when he got rejected by his own nephew. I am sorry Bambam it is just so funny.

We also saw Bambam in Mcountdown’s new year celebratory video among other artists.

It came out that Bambam is one of the panellists on King of Masked Singer. I have yet to catch up to the episode itself but this Bambam as a jury is quite exciting! Apart from this he was also in Mama Idol. He looked so cute with his giant bird jacket.

We had another YSL reel from Bambam this week. However this time he is being replaced by JayB, this tiny bit of comedy also got a reaction from Mark and JayB himself. They seemed to enjoy the joke just as much as us.

This week Bambam had video call with fans where he revealed he will got to the USA in March and he will visit Thailand on his return for another schedule. When asked if he’d be going together with Mark he said no, apparently Mark’s schedule in Thailand is in February.

We also got another GOT7 crumb from Bambam, he said their comeback is much sooner than we are anticipating. Please Bambam, we just took off our clown mask!

 Even though Yugyeom barely showed his face this week (we only got to see him in fan photos) we got a very exciting update! According to Yugyeom’s mother his next comeback is going to be in March. Thank you to the fans visiting Steak House for this information!

We also got Dalkyum update from Yugyeom. Apparently he’s been to grooming and now his fur is cut pretty short. This sparked a hilarious debate among ahgases on whether Dalkyum was enlisting first.

  By the end of this week it is safe to say we have to save money and a lot of it quickly. Possible PJY1 and CYJ2 soon, KYG2 definitely soon, at least 2 albums from Jackson throughout the year and 1 from Mark in summer. And GOT7 comeback sooner than we expect? We are about to go ahgabroke again.

All jokes aside I am pretty happy that we are getting this much content from them. Thank you for your hard work boys!

WEEKLY ENCORE 2022 – Week 4 (January 24-30)

Greeting to my fellow ahgases!

We are already in the last week on January. Time sure does fly by, especially if you are an ahgase and it is GOT7s anniversary month.

Lets take a look what went on the final days of January 2022.

 JayB had a physical release of an Ep. as Def. this week: LOVE came out on 26th. And in true Station Z move, they have arranged Def.s guesting on Jayb’s R&B. no you heard that right, Jaebeom guested on his own radio show.

And it was hilarious.

JayB acted as three different personas throughout the show, Bbomdi, Def and Jaebeom (guesting on phone). As a new artist Def seemed so nervous, he was quite and shy; a man of few words.

We noticed JayB’s Youtube account is now verified. Now I can’t say for sure when this happened, but it is definitely a nice update.

  Our shy Mark was on Twitch Rivals this week. On Friday he played Among Us with quite a few big streamers. It was quite funny to watch him struggle as an imposter, not being able to lie to any of them. Apparently Mark had a hard time lying to them as he didn’t know them well enough. Interesting huh?

The games were fun, the other streamers were very nice and open to Mark. I can’t wait to see similar events in the future.

Mark apparently got his nails done too, we saw his new nail art on the nail artists Instagram photos. The look so pretty that it makes me want to try it too.

We got another picture of Mark from Director Park Jeongah this week. the lighting in this one gives me feelings. Mark looks so nice there.

  We all know Jackson doesn’t know what rest means. And this week he continues to show this.

Thanks to Esquire we got to see Jackson’s accessory closet this time. It is just as impressive as his clothes collection.

This week there were preparations for the Chinese New Year performance he was going to be part of. He shared another episode of his “Know Me” series that shows the behind of his preparation for the Spring Festival Gala.

It was also revealed that Jackson is going to be part of a special music video for the winter Olympics theme song “for a shared future”. The music video includes quite a lot of important Chinese artists such as Jackie Chan and Andy Lau. A behind video was shared on Weibo.

We also got a story or two from Jackson, hinting that he is working on new music. Afterall he did promise one Chinese and one English album within this year, add GOT7 and Panthepack in the mix and woah. Jackson please remember to rest too.

  Jinyoung started the week with teasing ahgases. He shared a story of himself in Distract’s studio with the caption that birds are curios what he’s working on. Well he definitely knows we have been speculating a lot.

Jinyoung’s Japanese Fan club continued the teasing with sharing a behind photo from The Devil Judge with the club members. The rest of us just cried in international.

But he quickly made it up to us with a short impromptu Instagram live. He even switched back and forth from Korean to English. Thanks to birdies we have the videos on YT if you want to check it out. One thing I will spoil is birds told him that Bambam spoiled the GOT7 comeback in which he replied Bambam is always making problems and trouble. Ah the never ending fun banter between the boys.

We also got to see Jinyoung in KSTyle’s 10th anniversary video. It is nice to see that he still remembers Japanese.

And lastly, this week marked the start of A Christmas Carol’s filming. Some ahgases ran into Jinyoung and the filming crew and shared a few pictures and videos with us. Talk about lucky!

We got to see him running around, shouting, and even with blood and bruise make up all over his face; Jinyoung seems to be switching between the twins quite frequently. Best of luck to him and the crew. it is not an easy story to tell.

 Youngjae is still continuing as Daldi on Dream Radio, DJing everyday. He is giving us quite a lot of content with his daily 2 hour radio show, we even get to witness cute interactions between him and his family.

This week he also had Bambam as a guest. Needless to say it was fun and full of energy. They chatted about a lot of things, showed us the elevator trick once again and talked about how Hard Carry was one of their favourite GOT7 song. Very interesting that Hard Carry is being mentioned a lot lately, should I put on my clown mask?

Talking about GOT7, Youngjae asked Bambam what does he know, both of them trying to deflect that they know nothing at all about the comeback. Sure, not like we saw how Youngjae looked slightly panicked.

Youngjae also shared an old dog photo on twitter, which seems to be part of an exhibition of Saul Leiter. Ahgases were quick to jump on and teasingly ask him about Coco. Makes me wonder, how jealous is Coco?

  Bambam continued with his promotions on the second week with live performances on music shows and radio programs. Apart from Daldi, he has been guesting with Wheein and Eunji, and with Kim Shin Young whom he’s known since pre debut. Do check them out, they were quote nice and fun.

The performances varied from Slow Mo to Ride or Die this week. Bambam and his dance team has formed a nice bond by now, it is very entertaining to watch them on stage.

We also got more dance challenge videos of him with other artists on backstage of music shows.

While busy with performances, Bambam also shared a reel of him with YSL. The video itself looked pretty cool, I wonder if Bambam edited it himself.

 And Yugyeom. This week it looks like he worked hard on upping his ninja skills. Good job to our Maknae. However, we hear that you can get a glimpse of him if you visit his family restaurant Steak House.

WEEKLY ENCORE 2022 – Week 3 (January 17-23)

Hello my dear Ahgases.

Another busy week has come and passed, spoilers here and there, a lot of teasings from the boys…

Here what has been going on.

 JayB, uri leader has been keeping it quite this week. we still got a few updates on him nevertheless. On Wednesday we saw him on Station Z where he revealed he was feeling under the weather. No wonder he was inactive. We can only hope that he is now much better. Take it easy and rest well our dear JayB.

He also shared a dramatic skit with Station Z staff where he lay on the bench. Ah, the boys and their dramatics… 

Bbomdi night started off with Bambam’s Slow Mo as it is his comeback week. Jaebeom being cheeky called Bambam his enemy and even crossed his name out. Of course Bambam retaliated with posting the picture with caption “you’ll pay for this”. The tom and jerry vibes… they never disappoint. Just be careful Bam.

The theme for radio this week was snow this week and he talked about movies among others. Fans chimed in to add their own suggestions. Since JayB wore his 7 for 7 necklace one fan asked if it was a pizza. He hurriedly explained that it was his GOT7 necklace, and he felt like wearing it since it has been a while.

Jaebeom updated us with a set of pictures with him wearing a Celine Bag on instagram. The pictures have a simple charm to them. The ones on the stairway has a pretty urban street photo aesthetic.

We also got to see a sleeping cupcake. So very cute. Very important thing to document. I know, I am a cat mother myself.

Last but not least Jaebeom saw the fans project for his upcoming Def episode Love and thanked them on twitter.  It is always so sweet when the boys interact with us like that. It fills my heart with joy and adoration.

  Mark has been up and around this week. We first saw him and Joey live going out bowling. The boys seemed to have fun.

This week was Mark’s long awaited single My Life’s release. The single is as touching and sad as Last Breath and just as relatable. We all can feel his pain through his words. The music video itself was very aesthetic, dark and haunting. I can only wish that Mark has mostly happy memories from now on.

Mark also had an after party for Youtube premium users for his single release. He chatted with fans and even gave a hotline for them to call in. he looked cute and was pretty charming.

There’s also been a snippet of him in teen vogue article where they mention his first album is expected on this summer. Will this album continue to depict the story of his life? What will the theme be? We will patiently wait and see. The boys seems to be showering us with releases left and right this year.

  Jumping to China, Jackson is teasing us with some upcoming project. He seems to be working on new songs for his new album. As promised, we are going to have a lot of music from Jackson. We are eager to see which part of himself he wants to share with us next.

He also had a collab with CrazyBoy for his song “Damn Girl”. Ahgases has been vibing to this song while simultaneously crying to Mark’s release. He also entered Gaon Chart for the first time, which is quite an achievement considering… well if you are an ahgase you know. We are happy for you Jackson!

Jackson also started a rap challenge, asked fans to write 16 bar rap to fit in his latest song. Quite a few birds have shown their artistic side, sharing their stories, it was lovely. He also encouraged some fans who were insecure about singing on twitter and shared quite a few on his stories.

  For Jinyoung we got an update for Yacha finally, which is now named Yaksha instead. For people who might not be up to date with his projects, Yaksha was a movie he filmed back in 2020 but to this day it has not got a release date. Netflix acquired the rights for the movie, and it will be released world wide as a Netflix original. You can even search for it and put on the reminders for the movie. Only problem is we still don’t have a release date. Only thing that seems certain is it is within 2022.

Surprising us all, Jinyoung shared an update himself, a story of him in distract music’s studio. What is he working on, all ahgases are debating, is it his solo, is it for GOT7 or is it verse 3? My personal opinion is we are finally getting a solo album from him. But whatever he decides to share we are more than happy. I can’t wait to hear his beautiful lyrics and honey voice again.

Youngjae has started his Dream Radio DJ that spans into February. Ddaldi is with us daily giving us a lot of fun content and entertainment may it be alone or with guests. While I don’t understand a thing I’ve been tuning in whenever I can during work. It is interesting how the boys radio helps the dragging work hours to pass quickly.

From Youngjae we also got spoilers for his special Fan concert - he looks quite stunning I might say. He also shared his weekly vlog where he is playing games. As always Youngjae’s vlogs are fun. And the editing… Sublime staff is definitely ahgases themselves.

We also got to see Youngjae singing in a studio; it seems like this was from his musical rehearsal. How nice must it have been to watch him live on stage, lucky aghases let us know.

  This week was Bambam’s comeback week. His second album ‘B” just came out and it is definitely a no skip album as he said himself. The concept is so beautiful and colorful. Bambam never shies away from expressing himself. We also finally got a glimpse of the long hinted duck on his music video – in the form of a goose.

As a celebration Bambam arranged a twitter space with fans where he chatted with people randomly. First it was with birds who requested, but after he decided to randomly pick listeners and converse with the,. I have to say I was both excited and scared as I was in the middle of a crazy work day.

Bambam was so sweet throughout, he chatted with fans, asked if he could check their profile and follow them – a special gift from him he said. Congratulations to all the lucky birds! I am personally so overjoyed for you. Just be careful with *ahem* those tweets.

Since he has a new release, Bambam has been quite busy hopping from radio programs to music shows, giving us lots of fun performances. We’ve got dance challenge for Slow Mo too, just like ribbon. He also gave us extra videos whenever Slow Mo MV hit a milestone, every 10 million view. Bambam and Abyss has been busy and keeping us busy.

Bambam was also on Station Z as a special DJ. In true Bambam fashion it was chaotically fun. He seemed excited and happy. Since it is Station Z, JayB prepared a penalty for him, and yes you guessed it: super sexy aegyo dance. Because is it a punishment if it doesn’t include super sexy aegyo, GOT7 doesn’t think so.

And lastly, Bambam has also been spoiling quite a lot about GOT7 comeback. Here is what we got:

The 7s already know which date the comeback will be. They want it to be before members enlist. All of them have been working on both solo and GOT7 song and have been sharing the songs on group chat, commenting on each others. And, well, the date is going to be obvious once Mark and Jackson flies to S.Korea.

But hey we don’t snitch.

  Our Maknae breathed this week and ahgases were not ready. Yugyeom started slow with a nice selfie before hitting us with a smooth dance video. His moves were fire, mesmerizing. Half of the fandom is still processing what happened, and that’s all we are going to say about that because you must see it with your own eyes.

From Yugyeom we also got a behind video for the AOMG concert. We have been missing Yugyeom that this double update shocked us I must say. The part that is reserved for Yugyeom in our green hearts feel a bit more full this week.

 Before we finish we did get quite a lot of articles on GOT7s 8th anniversary, all depicting GOT7s journey and giving us at least a glimpse of what the boys have been up to. It is nice to see they are loved globally and the industry is missing them just as much. Can we predict that their next comeback is going to be huge? I sure hope so.

WEEKLY ENCORE 2022 – Week 2 (January 10-16)

Hello Birdies! Hope you had a nice week. It seems our boys did. While not as crazy as the first week, the boys have been keeping themselves, and by extension us busy. What have they been doing you say? Do not worry, I got us covered.

This week we had our anniversary, yes. But before jumping to that, lets visit each boy's week individually.

While keeping relatively quiet, Jay B had a few important moments this week. One of which was sharing his babies photos with us. His adorable little fluff balls seem to be keeping him busy. I can only imagine; my one and only cat is very attention demanding himself. Five cats must be a fun challenge.

Thank you for showing us your cats Jaebeom, we are honored.

This week had a food theme going on from Bambam’s live where he was eating dinner to Youngjae’s mukbang… Bbomdi had a whole night dedicated to food, specifically ramen. It seems he was on a diet but all the talk about food made him hungry.

Bbomdi also said they were thinking of a live on 16th but it was hard to arrange since all of them are in different places, plus the Covid restrictions. He essentially spoiled Bambam’s surprise but it is bbomdi. The only thing he doesn’t spoil is GOT7 comeback much to ahgases disappointment.

JayB also donated 50 Million Won to Goyang City Daycare Center in his hometown through the GreenUmbrella Children’s Foundation. This man has such a golden soul, giving back to the community. It makes my green little heart so proud for stanning him.

Thank you for setting such a good example to us best friend.

Mark revealed release date and title for his next single: it is coming out on 21st. Since none of us knew the title, nor we even thought to Shazam the song, the title is “My Life” and it is depicting a part of his life and hardships. But, as it was with Last Breath, he wrote it in a way that was relatable for everyone.

There is something so delicate about Mark’s lyrics. It always makes me so sentimental.

We also got stunning photos of Mark from style director Park Jeongah. Model Mark is quite breathtaking no matter how many photos we see of him.

Jackson.

Talking about personal songs that makes us cry, Jackson just released a song named after himself. The music video and lyrics tell his life story from his fencing days to JYP trainee to idol and Team Wang’s CEO. There are quite touching parts, you have to watch it to see. The animation itself was also so fitting and Jackson’s expression throughout the video is so melancholic.

Jackson was also revealed to be the cover of Cosmopolitan China’s February Issue. He definitely looks stunning in those photos!

We all know Jinyoung likes to ghost us. Last year we lived by pixel Jinyoung most of the days and got one update from him each month. While he seems more active on the social media front this year we still have less information on him than the others. It is okay, we know how busy you are Jinyoung, just remember to sleep too.

However we learned the script reading for Christmas Carol took place in 15th, and from all accounts it seems it was quite emotionally charged. I can’t wait for the actual movie to come out and bawl my eyes out.

Jinyoung also got praise from fellow Hi5 actor Yoo Ah In and the director Kang Hyung Chul as well. There is reports that he got applause on set. Our actor Park has done so much, don’t touch me I am emotional. I can’t wait for what else he has in store for us!

As I said before this week had a food theme going on. The weeks Vlog is Youngjae’s mukbang. The staff arranged quite a few meals and snacks that are popular among mukbang youtubers. I’ll stop here not to give any more spoilers but beware, you’ll feel quite hungry after viewing. Get your snacks ready.

We also got a Coco vlog this week. Talk about cuteness overload! Ahgases are already feeling full and happy this week. There is something so infectious about Youngjae’s warm content just like his laugh, it makes me happy.

For Bambam, as expected he has been quite active on socials. It is Bambam, what did we expect!

It was revealed earlier in the week that Bambam will be the first artists to be futured in Thai documentary “Men in Light”. The show gives insight on artists journey through stardom and their struggles behind the scenes. We are still waiting on the details but this will be another touching if not heartbreaking episode into the boy’s life.

Bambam has been keeping us on our toes with all the revelations. He is endorsing crypto currency Popcoin, and he is still actively posting about the NBA All Star voting for GSW. We also got behind clips for ‘Who Are You’.

Bambam has been quite busy with lives this week, three lives to be exact. He has chatted with fans about his albums and what to expect. During one of his lives an ahgase asked for a bite since he was having dinner. Bambam refused of course, throwing a jab at JayB and his ‘just one bite’s all those years ago living in the same dormitory. Our leader-nim was surprised Bambam still remembered this after so long when an ahgase brought it up during Bbomdi night.

On his last live Bambam also give spoilers on his album, played parts of his songs and even gave us a tiny dance performance. Ever the sweetheart, he also explained everything in three languages: Thai, English and Korean. No ahgase felt left out, he is so precious.

As active as Bambam was, his bestie Yugyeom was quite. We only got a selfie in stories from him. We don’t know what he is working on behind the scenes but we are happy to see him. I hope you are having just as fun as we are with all the content the boys are giving us. don’t forget to rest and take care of your health too.

Now we all know it was anniversary week, everybody was anticipating something. Did the boys deliver? Yes, yes they did. We got our OT7 live. We were all anticipating this, but we were also convinced that we were clowning. Because what is life in Ahga-Land if not clowning every other business day, right?

But we did it, we got our GOT7 live we wanted. For some of us (ahem, me) it was the first time seeing them together in real time. Nonetheless we were all so emotional and internally screaming at seeing Jaebeom go live with Jinyoung on his side, Maknae line joining, Mark hopping from facetime to the live, Jackson trying to live on Bambam’s phone while the mug holding the phone kept failing him.

How was the live you ask? It was chaos, it was fun, it was… something hard to describe with my words.

JayB and Jinyoung kept freezing due to bad connection, maknae line kept laughing at them and making fun, Mark, despite just woken up, looked happy, and Jackson in middle of a schedule halted everything as much as he could.

Each member gave little bit of on what they were working on and a little message to us ahgases; too bad Jinyoung’s was sabotaged by the wifi monster. At this point we are sure that pixel jinyoung is a curse.

While talking about their projects Bambam said he was done spoiling anything about GOT7. Sure Bambam, of course. Just like how we won’t snitch when you do.

After ‘The Live’ JayB, Bambam, Mark and Yugyeom went to Instagram and twitter to post their debut picture, celebrating their 8th anniversary. Youngjae also used the much-debated anniversary hashtag, thus ending all the fight. The boys do bring peace wherever they go, even within their own fandom.

Youngjae also arranged an online fan chat on the morning of the 16th on Universe app.

Jackson also went out to eat rice to celebrate the 8th anniversary.

What can we say, ahgases were well fed and happy by Sunday evening.

We close the 2nd week with full hearts. I wonder what the boys have in store for us in the upcoming weeks.

WEEKLY ENCORE 2022 – Week 1 (January 1-9)

Welcome to the first ever weekly cover on GOT7 news. It is only the first week of the year and the boys has given us a lot! From new albums to welcome kits to NBA, birds have been busy all week.

Some of the boys had quite a lot of updates that it is hard to keep track.

Lets journey back to the first week member by member, starting off with our dear leader JAYB.

Jaebeom had ended the year with a brief Instagram live; he wished everyone a happy new year with a 15 minute live. And started the year with a greeting tweet… on January 4th.

But Jaebeom came bearing gifts; we got a release date for his new episode as Def. And this episode will be the first episode to have a physical copy. A very special episode indeed. Pre orders have started already (and will end on 12th). Many birds quickly started checking their wallet to see what was left after the holiday period.

We also got the KAZZ photoshoot behind and… it is safe to say, JayB never disappoints whatever he does. The man has quite an allure to himself.

As we all know this week was JayB’s birthday, and by luck it fell on his Bbomdi BBomdi day. Station Z staff showed their support and love to our leader once again by not only decorating and giving him a birthday cake but arranging a heartwarming surprise. They arranged an audio letter from members currently in S.Korea and even got Jackson as a phone guest. Jackson being in the middle of a busy schedule recorded a video message in case he couldn’t make it. The whole thing was sweet, members slightly teasing but sending love, Jackson promising to call JayB after midnight in China so it would be his birthday. A must watch for an Ahgase.

JayB came online the next day with a handwritten letter as a thank you to the fans (there was a brief war flashback on birds side but we don’t talk about that). Although we didn’t get a meme from Bambam this year, he did squeez in a comment on Jaebeom’s post as a cute jab to the end of his letter.

We also got an update on Jaebeom’s MBTI: he shared a story with ENTJ so I assume it has changed now? It doesn’t think he is so thrilled at the idea either “MBTI is not science”.

While I am a bit sad that we no longer share the same MBTI (he was previously INFJ), I think the commander fits him quite well.

And lastly we had a TMI interview where he updated us on his life and answered quick questions. Check it out birds!

Our leader really didn’t let us breath this week huh? The rest wasn’t so different though.

Next is our flying member Mark. Mark started the year with a short but cheery tweet.

(Don’t mind it is the 2nd, it’s just because of the time difference; I live in Europe)

He also went to Instagram to share a snippet of his new song. Unbeknown to him (and me to be honest) unreleased songs can be shazam’d. Birds quickly figured this out and started sharing the songs title. Mark tweeting about his mistake, birds pretending they didn’t see anything, a pretty GOT7 type of chaos.

We’ll stream the song once you drop it Mark, don’t worry. Shazam or no shazam.

While Mark is our quite member we got another update from him; Ralph Lauren shared picture of Mark for the Laterals Magazine. He looks pretty good in green velvet.

Jackson has been keeping himself and us busy the whole year. And this does not look like it’s going to change in 2022 either. He ended the year with a quick Instagram live and performances for new year countdown lives. Once the clock hit midnight Jackson shared a cheeky new years message on twitter before promising to fill the year with music. We will be waiting what you have in store for us this year Jackson. But please also rest. You have worked so hard.

Jackson has been busy running from one event to another, attending Esquire’s Gentle Hala with a 20kg suit and collecting awards. That suit does look dazzling.

Fendi also shared photos of Jackson for their spring festival capsule collection. He also teased a valentines special short for Braun with "Unending Love" by Rabindranath Tagore. The Poet in question was an Indian poet who had important contributions to both Indian and Bengali literature. Now I don’t know much about Rabindranath Tagore himself but as he is an important figure, so his poem being included in the short does seem very important. Bengali and Indian Ahgases seemed pretty happy.

As Promised Jackson is also releasing new music. He teased a new song named after himself. The story of the song is apparently depicting his life and will be out on the 11th. I don’t know what to expect but something tells me we’re going to cry.

Unexpectedly we have quite a few updates from Jinyoung. First day of the year we got stories of him chilling at his sisters café and watching the first sunrise. Now that filming ended for most of his projects (that we know of, you never know with Park Jinyoung) and Christmas Carol filming still not started, he seems to have been enjoying a bit of free time. We lucky birds even got a post with the beautiful sunrise. He also posted behind photos from both “The Devil Judge” and “Yumi’s Cells”. Quite a blessing for pepis who has been living with pixel Jinyoung for months now.

We finally got Yacha and Hi5 confirmation through BH’s new years post. The company has shared the upcoming project for their artist and Jinyoung was in four of them: Yumi’s Cells S2, Yacha, Hi5 and A Christmas Carol.

Speaking of acting, Jinyoung’s role in Hi5 is confirmed to be a villain. Very exciting, especially when you think he filmed it at the same time as Yumi’s Cells. Sweet office worker Yoo Babi in the morning, super villain in the evening? I can’t wait.

Jinyoung’s Japanese fan club also shared an exclusive selfie and some birds leaked a pieces of it on tweeter, starting a big scale puzzle game. The struggle was real.

The last of of Jinyoung’s updates came from himself; he posted two dance videos seemingly from his trainee days. His dance teacher before his trainee years reposted them while teasing us with the Jinyoung dance video’s he has in his HDD.

Lastly, Jinyoung posted a selfie with the information about an art exhibit: ACEP2022. This is a special exhibition for artists with development disabilities. Such a beautiful thing to promote Jinyoung, thank you.

Next on our actor line is Youngjae. Our sunshine has been relatively quiet this week. Although there is no new project announced he is getting praise for his acting. Couldn’t be more proud of him.

Youngjae started the year with a greeting video and continued with a new episode of his vlog. Our sunshine is becoming quite the youtuber, we love to see it. Not to spoil the episode but him editing was so cute.

Youngjae also revealed a welcoming kit for 2022. It looks so sweet, a calendar, photo cards, photo strips and a stamp. The stamp is such a nice idea, I want one!

He is also announced to be a DJ in MBC’s Dream Radio from January 17th to February 6th. We get another weekly radio to look forward to. Now I don’t know if it is possible, but wouldn’t it be so fun if they’d extend his contract as well?

Before moving on from Youngjae, let’s not forget he is also the cover of The Star magazine for this month. He looks stunning doesn’t he?

Bambam has been quite busy, keeping us busy as well. He takes after his Jackson Hyung I suppose. Starting the new year with a 2 day special new years concert in Pattaya Bambam performed quite a few songs both his and GOT7s. During his talk segment he revealed 2022 is going to be Ahgases years and he is planning on doing a live on the 16th. He added he was thinking of a surprise for the anniversary but he was not sure yet. Bambam don’t feed our clown hearts like that, it is dangerous. We see you have changed your twitter header to ahgabong’s too (from his Pattaya Concert). Now what should we think of this Bambam? You know we've been clowning ourselves every other day.

Although working, Bambam has spent some time with family too while in Thailand. We got cute updates like ‘Who Are You’ dance challenge with his sister Baby and Mama B. his mother also posted a few quite videos of all of the Bhuwakul Family together. Ahgases are also happy to see him reunite with his family after two years.

Bambam is also reported to be in a Malaysian reality show “Master in The House – Malaysia”. The show is set to air on 15thof this month. His Secret Island episodes are still being uploaded weekly by KBS too.

On the 7th Bambam revealed his 2ndmini album title. The concept art is gorgeous. To be frank all his concept art looks gorgeous. With all the collaborations he has, this album is going to be a banger I am sure!

Bambam didn’t stop there though. While ahgases are trying to process the album release date and doing recalculations to afford all the boys releases we have a sudden update from him. Though this time it is of a very different nature. Bambam announced that he is now the global ambassador of NBA team Golden State Warriors. He also nominated one of the players for NBA all-star.

The birds, as expected followed suit. In a short amount of time all birds were voting for GSW players, learning about the team, even making edits for the players with Bambam and GOT7 songs. Dub Nation (GSW fans) were first shocked but were quick to embrace this change, a few started listening to our boys songs too and voted on SMA. We also found common grounds on being the outcasts within their respective areas despite being good at their craft. For a moment everyone was happy, sun was shining, people were laughing.

Our maknae has been very quite lately but he did come out for a new years post. Forget western actors, Yugyeom for spiderman!

I especially love the last picture he shared, the one with the traffic lights and the sun.

While we are excited about KYG2 he teased a few weeks back, we will be patient. Yugyeom is finding his own pace it seems. Take your time Yugyeom, do what feels right to you and have fun. Although it would be nice to have a selfie here and there, dandelions are going a bit stir crazy you see.

In general news Golden Disk Awards was at the 8th of January. GOT7 was nominated for best album but didn’t win. None of the members attended the event. I am not even sure if they knew they were nominated.

There is also Korean Hip Hop award nominations going on ahgases has been nominating Yugyeom and JayB. The nomination period is between 4th to 10th January.

It is only the first week but we are definitely going ahga-broke. New Def episode, Bambam’s 2nd mini album, Youngjae’s welcoming kit…

Welcome Birdies!

Hello my dear Ahgases, welcome to our little memory bank!!

This is a project that aims to capture and store the weekly happenings in the 7s and ahgases lives. The boys are busy having fun with their freedom, giving us a lot of content. It only seems fair that we save these memories. I will be documenting updates, fun moments and even our struggles. 

The Ahgamag will be a weekly update news blog. Every Sunday there will be a summary of what went down, who has new stuff announced, who accidentally released their song, which fandom is our new bestie and so on. I also plan to name this segment “Weekly Encore”. If you have recommendations however, I am open to it.

Another segment I want to include is a throwback post; every Thursday we can have our own little TBT remembering past memories. Of course this will need a lot of research and would definitely appreciate help from fellow birds. I have a name for this part as well, though it is very simple “Memory Lane” (I am still thinking of a few other options). However this segment is going to stay in drafts for now as I’ll focus on the weekly updates first.

Please keep in mind that I am but one person who has a demanding daily job. I might be absent from time to time. But I will try to keep up to date.

Another point is English is not my first language and it is the first time I’m trying journaling like this. There might be a few mistakes along the way.

I will try to keep the negativity out of here unless it is a big issue and/or one of the sevens is directly involved.
