Interviewer: Knoa, congratulations on your debut single! How does it feel to be finally releasing your own single, 'just a boy'?

Knoa: Thank you so much! Honestly, it still feels surreal 'cause I feel like it was just yesterday na I worked with Kuya Mark on Fraktsiya. Even though I've done so much since then, it never really felt like work kasi I was enjoying every second of it. And to finally share to the world what I've been working on for the past few months? It's both exciting and nerve-wracking. But I'm ready for it!

Behind her song 'just a boy'

Interviewer: What inspired this song?

Knoa: 'Just a Boy' is a song about that moment when you finally walk away from a relationship after realizing who your lover truly is. It's all about understanding your self-worth, doing something to address it. I wrote it from a very personal place, but I think a lot of people will relate to it.

Interviewer: Would you say na your music is deeply personal?

Knoa: Songwriting is a way for me to express myself, but I also want people to relate to it as much as I do. So, I'd say it's personal, but I also take others' experiences into account at the same time.

What's next for Knoa?

Interviewer: What can fans expect after 'just a boy'? Do you have plans of releasing an album na ba?

Knoa: I can't say much yet, but there's definitely more music coming. I have so much in store pa and I can't wait to share more soon!

Interviewer: Any message for your supporters?

Knoa: A huge, huge thank you to everyone who has been with me since day one—lalo na sa support system ko: my parents, grandparent, pinsans, friends, and of course, my supporters! I wouldn't be here without you, guys. This is only the beginning, and I'm so grateful to have you all with me on this journey. I hope you enjoy 'Just a Boy' as much as I loved creating it!
