society has enough songs about love but it doesn't have enough songs about waking up, stepping outside, taking a deep breath, getting real high, and screaming from the top of your lungs WHAT'S GOING ON. could mine that universal human experience a little more thoroughly

‘who would win in a fight between aang and korra’ isn’t even a question bc aang would be like ‘i would NEVER fight with one of my future lives’ and korra would not hesitate before sucker-punching a twelve year old

Here’s my contribution to the Fullmetal Alchemist fandom this Oct 3!
A little warning for prospective viewers: FMAB has some very dark scenes (both blood-and-gore dark and conceptually dark). Although it’s not too bad, I thought I might add a warning since I’ve mostly recommended TV-Y7 shows.
Have fun watching (or rewatching) Fullmetal Alchemist this October 3!

A wizard is a strange and untrustworthy sort of person who reads from secret books full of secret words and lives within houses with walls of an incorrect configuration. They do not perform the correct sorts of bows or conciliatory gestures, and they seek recompense through entirely the wrong channels. Their vessels are likely to be ill-maintained or of dated or clashing style. They may emit non-sanctioned forms of radiation. Do not trust a wizard, and be always operating on your guard, behind at least two degrees of remove, when propriety or necessity dictate that you must interact with one.

Apple propaganda notwithstanding, the reason tower PCs are big isn’t because they’re outdated. The reason tower PCs are so bulky is because they’re designed to be user serviceable. The case has lots of open space so your big, meaty hands can easily access all of the components, and everything is secured with friction-fit tabs and standard machine screws to minimise the need for specialised tools. A properly laid out tower PC is fully serviceable with a single Phillips-head screwdriver and no greater manual skill than your average Lego playset – heck, for some of the more modern case layouts you don’t even need the screwdriver, unless you’re performing major surgery like a full motherboard replacement.
Like, think about who benefits from convincing you that a fully modular computing device that can be serviced and repaired with your bare hands and minimal technical skill is unfashionable.
