I didn’t have a room of treasures in a mountain, or a pile of gold for Smaug to take photos on… but I did have the next best thing for treasure- books! Lots of Tolkien books!

I took several different shots of Smaug in his many wing poses in this shoot, and while I’ll be sharing them slowly over time on Instagram (to avoid Smaug overkill), I’m sharing them all here now! Which is your favorite?
