I’m just sharing some explanations of what happened just now at SCOTUS from people who know more than I do

So this was not about the merits of birthright citizenship, because Trump knew he’d lose on that, so they went after the ability of federal courts (besides SCOTUS) to do nationwide injunctions. The Trump fan club that is the 6-3 majority just made it harder for lower courts to block Trump’s illegality nationally, though it seems like it might not be impossible. I am once again saying this is directly the fault of everyone who said we were “fear mongering” about the SC in 2016
