Thank you so much for the ask!! I'm so happy I can talk about it for a bit :> This one's probably the most "finished" out of them all (even though I'm still only like halfway done... I have been working on it since 2021 😭). Pat and Cap are teachers, it's the end of the school year, and Pat suggests that they go on a holiday to cool off. But! Once they get to the resort, Pat catches a sign that offers a Valentine's Day discount (but like in summer, you get me) to pairs and Pat thinks that the best idea at that moment is to tell the Captain that they should definitely pretend to be a pair. Just so that they can save money. Nothing else. There is absolutely no ultrior motive on Pat's side haha what are you suggesting- And here's something to show for it: "Okay, so there are one, two... three activities that we have to show up to," Pat says, shoving the pamphlet in Cap's face. "As a pair." "As a pair. And then you can be off to swim along the shore, or get to know local war museums." "Are there any?" "Only one way to find out." Pat finally gets the door to their room open and, to absolutely no one's surprise, in the middle of the room, there is only one bed. Cap huffs, pushes past Pat to claim his side of the bed - left - and trows his bag on the other side, dropping onto the mattress face first. Pat can only hope that his body doesn't have any weird reaction to the other teacher sleeping in such a close proximity. God knows that for the past few weeks it's been difficult to work alongside Captain James without his eyes straying for too long.
