Writing is continuing! And I might actually finish something someday which I can post instead of starting yet another WIP. I have at least 10 of them so far.

I'm not sure where I was last time I posted about it, but I've been working on editing along with writing. I have 4 one shots in various levels of completion (including one I'm halfway through editing) and another one shot that turned into a very smutty 4 chapter fic and a pile of scenes for my Chloe finds out longfic.

To list it out and keep myself honest:

Chloe Finds Out - various scenes including most of the ending arc

They Meet Precanon - first scene and an outline

Precanon One Shot - same verse as above, done but can't be posted since I need to write the other fic first

One Shot Series - four fics, one about done

Proposition Fic - finished first editing pass

Random other fics - combos of writing and working out the plots

One thing I'm finding interesting it how little I sometimes know about how a fic is going to go. Thinking about it doesn't spark the same connections as writing it down does. I'll have some dialog and all of sudden Chloe is going on dates with a guy (where did he come from?) or a bit of a scene and now Lucifer is spiraling that his father is trying to kill Chloe (didn't plan that).

being anti ai is making me feel like in going insane. "you asked for thoughts about your characters backstory and i put it into chat gpt for ideas". studies have proven its making people dumber. "i asked ai to generate this meal plan". its causing water shortages where its data centers are built. "ill generate some pictures for the dnd campaign". its spreading misinformation. "meta, generate an image of this guy doing something stupid". its trained off stolen images, writing, video, audio. "i was talking with my snapchat ai-" theres no way to verify what its doing with the information it collects. "youtube is impletmenting ai based age verification". my work has an entire graphics media department and has still put ai generated motivational posters up everywhere. ai playlists. ai facial verification. google ai microsoft ai meta ai snapchat ai. everyone treats it as a novelty. every treats it as a mandatory part of life. am i the only one who sees it? am i paranoid? am i going insane? jesus fucking christ. if i have to hear one more "well at least-" "but it does-" "but you can-" im about to lose it. i shouldnt have to jump through hoops to avoid the evil machine. have you no principles? no goddamn spine? am i the weird one here?

My muse has given another one shot and I really love it. It’s angsty and a bit smutty and enjoyably painful.

On the other hand it is clearly set (in my head at least) between parts one and two of my ‘Chloe and Lucifer Meet a Decade Pre-canon’ fics.

So no posting it unless I either manage to write part one or give it up.
