🚨 The internet needs you 🚨

You’re up again, Tumblr. 

Back in 2015 you demanded that the FCC adopt strict net neutrality rules and establish a free and open internet. And you won. 

That should’ve been the end of it. But apparently not.

The new head of the FCC wants to undo the net neutrality protections you fought so hard for.

His proposed changes open the door to your web traffic being slowed down, or even blocked altogether. You could be forced to pay extra to use your favorite apps. You could even be prevented from getting news from the sources you trust.

Title II protects consumers and democracy by ensuring all voices can be heard.

You know the drill. Here’s what to do:

The FCC is taking comments from the public, and dearfcc.org is making it as simple as possible for you to make your voice heard.

You’ll just need to provide a name, an address, and then say a little bit about why rolling back Title II protections is a bad idea. If you’re not quite sure what to write, here’s something to get you started:

I’m writing to urge you to keep our Open Internet rules based on Title II in place. Without them, we could lose the internet as we know it.

The proposed changes to FCC rules would allow fast lanes for sites that pay, and force everyone else into slow lanes. We’ve already seen access to streaming services like Netflix, popular games like League of Legends, and communication platforms like FaceTime slowed down, or even blocked. Conditions like this hurt businesses large and small, and penalize the users who patronize them. 

The changes also open the door to unfair taxes on internet users, and could also make it harder for blogs, nonprofits, artists, and others who can’t pay up to have their voices heard.

Please leave the existing existing net neutrality rules based on Title II in place.

Cum sa te imbraci sa pari mai inalt.

 Pentru bărbații mici de înălțime, conformația corpului devine uneori motiv de frustrare, mai ales atunci când sunt înconjurați de prieteni mult mai înalți decât ei și astfel devin ținta ironiilor. Există unele procedee naturale de a mai crește în înălțime, dar există și unele metode chirurgicale foarte costisitoare și dureroase. Dacă vrei să trişezi şi să pari mai înalt, poți să apelezi cu încredere la diferite trucuri menite să distragă atenția de la înălțime sau să creeze iluzia optică a câtorva centimetri în plus. Cel mai la îndemână instrument îl reprezintă hainele și modul în care le combini. Felul în care te îmbraci este foarte important, deoarece culorile și dimensiunile hainelor pot schimba dramatic percepția vizuală.

Așadar, putem să ne bazăm pe haine atunci când vine vorba de adaugat câțiva centimetri în plus, cel puțin până când știința va veni cu o idee inovatoare și ne vom putea proporționa conform propriilor noastre dorințe. Ți-am pregătit câteva trucuri care te vor ajuta sa arăti mai înalt, folosind ceea ce se găsește deja în garderoba ta, dar și de ce articole să te ferești în cazul în care nu vrei să fii al optulea pitic.

CEL MAI IMPORTANT — POARTĂ MĂSURILE POTRIVITE

Înainte de orice, trebuie să fii sigur că porți haine portivite corpului tău. Nu vrei ca, după ce că te-a cadorisit natura cu picioare scurte, să mai scazi și tu câțiva centrimetri din cauza hainelor prost alese. O pereche de blugi care face multe cute în partea de jos, un tricou larg cu umeri căzuți, ori o jachetă ale căror mâneci trec cu mult de primele falange, nu ajută cu nimic. Asta nu înseamnă că, automat, hainele cu o măsură mai mici te vor face să pari mai înalt sau mai mare. Vei arăta doar caraghios, atâta tot.

INSPIRĂ-TE DIN UNIFORMELE DEȚINUȚILOR

Hainele cu dungi verticale, pe lângă faptul că seamănă cu cele ale deținuților, vin în ajutorul tău atunci când vrei să pari ceva mai înalt, dar și mai slab. Dacă pentru deținuți, uniforma cu dungi verticale era folosită ca simbol al rușinii și reprezenta o detenție riguroasă, pentru tine, aceste elemente vestimentare sunt de mare ajutor. Poți alege, de exemplu, o cămașă, o jachetă sau chiar pantaloni. Totuși, ai grijă ca dungile să nu fie prea groase.

Cea mai importantă piesă vestimentară din garderoba bărbatului care îţi poate fi de ajutor în acest caz este cămaşa. Ea merge aproape în orice situaţie, dar alege una cu dungi cât mai subţiri şi stridente.

ÎMBRACĂ-TE MONOCROM

O altă variantă foarte la îndemână este să te îmbraci într-o singură culoare. În primul rând, o ținută uniformă din punct de vedere cromatic te va alungi vizual iar apoi nu riști să fii disproporționat din cauza alegerii unor haine în diferite culori. Dacă vrei să porți culori, încearcă în tonalități apropiate și poartă în partea superioară nuanța cea mai deschisă, iar în partea de jos pe cele cu tonalități mai închise. Folosește acest truc în sens invers, în cazul în care ești foarte înalt și vrei să pari ceva mai scund.

PUNE ACCENT PE PARTEA SUPERIOARĂ

Un pont foarte bun este să atragi atenția la față și în partea superioară a corpului. În acest fel eviți să fii măsurat din cap până în picioare și astfel nu se observă că ai 1,73 cu tot cu pantofi și ridicat pe bordură. Printre aceste detalii se numără: gulerele contrastante de la cămaşă, cravatele colorate, batiste de buzunar, epoleţi sau ochelari de soare. Poți de asemenea să apelezi chiar și la o frizură ceva mai înaltă, dar este bine să renunți la pălărie. Un alt detaliu foarte eficient este decolteul în V. Acesta lungește gâtul și în acest fel te face să pari mai înalt.

Alte sfaturi:

Evită dungile orizontale

Evită să porți curea. Dacă totuși ai nevoie de una, optează pentru una îngustă care să nu fie în contrast cu ținuta

Nu purta pantaloni cu turul lăsat și nici evazați

Nu purta bluze ori tricouri lungi. Îți vor face picioarele scurte și vei părea chiar mai scund

Evită pantalonii scurți și cămășile cu mânecă scurtă

Când ți se face o poză, stai drept și roagă-l pe fotograf să te pozeze de jos în sus. Astfel vei păcăli cu înălțimea ta.

CONCLUZIE

Fie că ești înalt, slab, gras ori scund, imporant este să te simți bine în pielea ta și să ai încredere în tine. Aceste trucuri sunt menite să te ajute să adaugi câțiva centimetri în plus și să știi la ce să fii atent pentru a nu te sabota singur.

Bijuteriile pentru bărbați

Pentru bărbații ce poartă un costum sau chiar o ținută casual, bijuteriile potrivite vă pot actualiza look-ul, acestea sunt detaliile ce adaugă stil și unicitate ținutei. În același timp, bijuteriile prea strălucitoare pot ieși prea mult în evidență. Bărbații ar trebui să fie întotdeauna subtili în ceea ce privește subiectul ”bijuterii”. O variantă de aur, argint sau alt metal este acceptabilă și de preferat, ceva mai strălucitor va da o senzație de prost gust. În cele din urmă există “butonul” pentru cravată. Acesta se lipește prin centrul cravatei și apoi se atașează lanțului un fel de buton. Din moment ce necesită o gaură în cravată, în timp se ajunge la deteriorarea acesteia, deci nu recomandăm utilizarea acestuia.

Verigheta și inelele

În cazul în care ești căsătorit, verigheta este singura bijuterie a bărbaților care este purtată la fiecare ținută, spre deosebire de alte bijuterii. Pe langă un inel de nuntă, alte inele cu o valoare simbolică pot completa cu succes ținuta ta. Un inel cu clasă este văzut pe degetele multor bărbați ca fiind elegant, indiferent că este vorba de un inel de aur, argint sau platină. Dacă te afli într-o poziție socială mai avansată un inel încorporat cu pietre prețioase poate reprezenta un avantaj pentru tine, cu excepția faptului să nu fie prea extravagant.

Se potrivesc la o ținută smart-casual, dar și pentru o ținută mai formală, de asemenea. Este posibil să trebuiască să păstrați cămașa mânecii o idee mai scurtă decât se poartă de obicei, ca brățara să poată fi observată. În cazul în care brățara este mai subțire, se poate adăuga și alt accesoriu lângă, de exemplu un ceas de mână.

just to clear some things up...

It came to my attention yesterday that some have been pointing to my videos and saying that I am giving credibility to the anti-Semitic movement, and my fans are part of it as well for watching. I don’t want to cite the sources because I don’t want to give them any more attention.

This originated from a video I made a couple of weeks ago. I was trying to show how crazy the modern world is, specifically some of the services available online. I picked something that seemed absurd to me—That people on Fiverr would say anything for 5 dollars.

I think it’s important to say something and I want to make one thing clear: I am in no way supporting any kind of hateful attitudes.

I make videos for my audience. I think of the content that I create as entertainment, and not a place for any serious political commentary. I know my audience understand that and that is why they come to my channel.  Though this was not my intention, I understand that these jokes were ultimately offensive.

As laughable as it is to believe that I might actually endorse these people, to anyone unsure on my standpoint regarding hate-based groups: No, I don’t support these people in any way.

Manipulating Tumblr/Tumblr Tricks

I’ve been using tumblr for two years (since 2009, and I wrote this in 2011) and am still surprised by what I find/figure out. Missing e is no longer - Get NEW Xkit for Chrome This is more for other little integrated things that is seems a lot of people don’t know tumblr will/can do. LIKES: You can search your tumblr likes with pages just like you can with your dashboard! http://www.tumblr.com/likes/page/*pick a number* - for example my first likes happen to be around http://www.tumblr.com/likes/page/290 - yours may be higher or lower depending. It makes it much easier to find something if you have over 3,000 of them like I do. Want to see someone else’s likes? http://www.tumblr.com/liked/by/callmeblake (only works if they have their likes public though). Just insert their tumblr name at the end of that URL (in place of callmeblake). TAGS: Tags are a wonderful way to organize your blog, and most people don’t seem to realize that if you reblog a post, it will not show up in tumblr search with your tag, but only in your own blog. Only ORIGINAL posts will show up in the main search with your tags so make the most of that. (Edit February 26th, 2017) Avoid ,“/”,“%” and question marks “?”, (right now) “+” and dashes/hyphens “-” tumblr tags don’t know what to do with these and if someone clicks on that tag on your blog they will go nowhere. You can link people to these tagged pages in your sidebar, or in your blog just use http://*yourblogname*.tumblr.com/tagged/*tag you wish to link them to* For example, my Halt and Catch Fire tag looks like this: http://callmeblake.tumblr.com/tagged/halt%20and%20catch%20fire Whoa! “What’s with the %20 you say?”, it’s what tumblr turns the spacebar into, you can also use an underscore and tumblr will still find it.
