Lyrics and atmosphere for this one are so ominous. Really makes the Dark feel like an inevitable, suffocating force. There's no stopping it. I can't imagine any better song for the oubliette lore and army reveal.

Drag Me Under - Sleep Token

"And I know the gods will abandon the heavens just to find us."

Such a sad but reverent vibe. Sleep Token is great at writing about doomed longing.

Say That You Will - Sleep Token "Let the impulse to love and the instinct to kill entangle to one."

One thing apparent to me rereading Dark Heir is how scared Will is to lose his friends, especially Violet, if they find out who he is, and I have to wonder—was Sarcean like that, too? Is part of the reason he was so possessive because he was afraid to lose people?

If so, it adds another layer to the mystery of the Collar and Anharion the Betrayer.
