Just things from the AU, just after she gets him back for good. 💕 The idea that Inquisitor Lavellan just gets their identity erased in portraits really stuck with me...😬 Poor Myrra.

Edit: Myrra has a very complicated relationship with her culture and people but cares for them deeply. She let's Solas remove her Vallaslin for example because he shows her what it stood for back in the days. Despite all that she still identifies as Dalish.

Gamlen and Leandra's entire relationship as siblings is so interesting because you can look at is as a reflection of what Hawke's relationship with their living sibling could become.

I don't think it's coincidence that out of every character in DA2, it's Carver who's like, "Look, Gamlen's definitely an ass, but I understand his side of things." There's an argument to be made that Carver's lowkey aware that he could be looking at his future when he looks at Gamlen should he let his own bitterness and inferiority complex drive him to that, or should Hawke push him away instead of trying to repair their relationship. Plus there's that, "stuck in your shadow," thing that he and Gamlen have in common.

Bethany comments that she can't imagine doing what Gamlen did to Leandra, or treating her sibling the way he does... except if she becomes a Grey Warden, she absolutely blames Hawke for it and makes her resentment known, a stark contrast to her behavior in Act 1. Some of the shit she says makes me do a double take because, "...that could've come outta Gamlen's mouth and I wouldn't have thought twice, but hearing it from you?? Ouch."

I mean, I'd argue that Bethany has more bitterness than Carver in general, she's just better at hiding it than he is. If she becomes a warden, then she sees no point in hiding it anymore whereas Carver's always worn what he has on his sleeve.

Hawke and their living sibling could easily follow in Gamlen and Leandra's footsteps, or become worse than them, and it totally depends on Hawke's decisions and I think that's a neat concept.

Varric had Cassandra completely fooled into thinking the Inquisitor was going to propose to some mysterious unknown paramour during Trespasser.

Now. This isn't entirely impressive given we know he is well adept at fooling Cass.

However, I raise you this. Solas's spies were all over Halamshiral. Can you imagine being the poor spy that has to report to the Dreadwolf that the Inquisitor is very soon to be engaged.

Solas being torn between deep confusion, disbelief, and dramatic throes of pathetic pining. Realizing her relationship must have gone on for sometime without his knowledge if she's ready to propose. Being devestated that while he has sat here pining, she had already found another to shower in her affections. Being distraught that whomever this is, she deems them enough of a catch to propose herself. Who the hell are they? Could they really compare to the Dreadwolf? She never proposed to him. Discovering the source of the information is Varric, and realizing he shouldn't take it at face value. But not quite being able to shake off the "oh woe is me my life is over" energy despite it.

This is complete crack, obviously. I just think it'd have been hilarious if when you finally reach him in Trespasser he's got:

Draped over that Eluvian behind him. He tries to say, "I suppose you have questions." And it comes out, "Were you going to invite me to the wedding?"

When Cass finds out she screams "Vindication!" And tries to convince Varric she wasnt the only one fooled.
