Our first Duck Hatch didn't go that well.
Between power outages and a cracked egg, only 4 out of twelve eggs hatched. Regardless, I am thankful that all four are healthy and happy.

Some new additions to the homestead!
We are super excited to have these chicks join us, as they lay beautiful blue and green eggs. We've wanted some blue and green layers for a while.

Merlin takes his position as flock manager very seriously. He must make sure all new arrivals have a safe and secure first morning on the homestead.
