I track earthquakes all over the world, but I'm also a nature and beauty aesthetic blog with some anime.

This is the original Ken Sugimori art that was released with Pokemon Red and Green. This artwork is very rare, but much of it was recoloured and used as the anime artwork.
Not to be confused with the Sugimori artwork released with the international Red and Blue, which has been widely available online for a number of years.
The images were recently uploaded to Bulbapedia and can be found here: http://archives.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Category:Art_from_Pok%C3%A9mon_Red_and_Green

I imagine there being an actual distinction of Vulpix’s colors with how it seems to vary in different formats even though they are all suppose to look the same. I imagined each of the color variants being most commonly found in different biomes where they blend in the best with their surroundings. The pinks would be more dominant in cool temperate coniferous woodlands/forests. The oranges would be mostly found in grasslands, arid, and semi-arid regions(places of more sparse vegetation). The reds(red tails) would be most common in deciduous woodlands. Each are not limited to certain climates, just which ones are most dominant in different places. However, the ice Vulpix would resemble an arctic fox and therefor could not live anywhere hot.

I decided to keep the eyes green while the fur gets pinker. Eyes turning red might be a little too harsh and anxiety inducing.
