I like to headcanon that all five of Jay’s senses are incredibly enhanced due to his element. He’s like the ninjago version of Spider-man.

The most basic of explanations is that the nerves in our body are essential for every single one of our five senses (sight, touch, taste, hearing and smell) as they transmit signals from the sensory organs (like your fingers-touch, or nose-smell) using electrical pulses to our brain for us to actually understand and process those senses (for them to work, pretty much)

So imagine Jay, post true potential, crashing out because everything is way too much and “Cole can you stop chewing so damn loud istg”

He can’t handle being touched by Kai’s unnaturally warms hands and he jumps like a cat when he accidentally brushes against Zane’s cold skin.

He starts squinting when looking at Lloyd’s face, not to see better but for everything to go just a tad blurrier so he won’t see the very strange golden specks in Lloyd’s eyes he refuses to question and because its giving him the ick at seeing everyones faces so damn clearly. Too clearly.

Jay’s not ashamed to admit he’s used incredibly important- illegal -parts he probably shouldn’t have to build the best damn headphone you’ve ever found to block everyone out. Everyone. He runs away when Nya keeps trying to see what he used to build it.

It’s when Wu finally remembers what happened with Libber in her stories all those years ago that he starts helping Jay with his enhanced senses every morning now. Jay now has so much fun eavesdropping on people he’s like another mini Wu who knows too much.

so like is there a murder drones cowboy au already I immediately lost all motivation on mine in like 2 hours because I was failing to draw V but I'm still insane about the concept the scrapped stuff
