BAS: Yeah. Of course. I'm on my way home now. I'll be there in five or so minutes.

BLAINE: Then how do you expect me to make the same promise? You're a super-human, not incapable-of-dying-human.

BLAINE: After all we've been through together, we are not turning out to be one of those self-sacrificing couples. We figure everything out together.

BAS: I don't plan on going Romeo and Juliet on each other but like you said, I'm not incapable of dying and I'm not going to give up to put you at risk or in danger.

BLAINE: My night avenging days have been tabled for the time being. I won't do anything that could distract you in a battle.

BLAINE: I guess no one. But I would've that with the powers and all, maybe that would've changed. The greater good, all that stuff.

BLAINE: I would never do anything that could hurt you. You know better.

BLAINE [UNSENT MESSAGE]: I guess I never realized how much you needed me. It's...a little sick it took something so unreal to get us here.

BLAINE: I love you. When are you getting home? I wanna make us lasagna.

BAS: And that's why I need you. You remind me of the greater good and to be better than who I am. You've always done that. As long as I can remember, especially after the last time I was an asshole, it drove you away. I don't care about people but I care about you and what you think about me.

BAS: I know that. It was a joke, babe. I know you're probably the only one who wouldn't hurt me.

BAS: Don't worry, B. I would never let anything happen to you. I love you, more than my own life and I'd even give that up to keep you save.

BAS: I'll be home in a couple of hours. I just have a few things to finish up.

BLAINE: I don't believe that you really don't care about anybody else.

BLAINE: Let me leave it a surprise until I know it's feasible. Then I'll tell you :P Or I'll just make you do it.

BLAINE: If it's a fixed point in time, that means you can't change it. And I don't think any amount of strength you might have will. Or could have.

BAS: How long have you known me for, B? Aside from myself, you and Hunt, who else have I ever cared about anyone?

BAS: Is it going to hurt? Just because I can heal doesn't mean it doesn't hurt like hell when I break something.

BAS: I refuse to accept that and whatever happens, I'm not going to give up and just let it happen. I'll stop it no matter what.

BLAINE: So you don't care about any of that other stuff? Anybody else? Why did you start saving in the first place? Before you saw me..die.

BLAINE: Then it's a deal. I've got some ideas for what might make you faster. I'm going to need Cisco and Caitlin to help me put it into application though.

BLAINE: But if it's a fixed point...

BAS: It was Bruce's idea. He thought I should use my powers for something and it was something you'd want me to do.

BAS: Are you going to let me in on these ideas or is it a surprise?

BAS: That's why I'm getting stronger so I can change that.

BLAINE: What about all the other people who could use your help? People who are being destroyed by the metahumans.

BLAINE: I'm not treating you like a dog, Bas. I'm being serious. I want to see if I can help you. If I can be more of an asset to you getting better and stronger. If not, I'll focus on school.

BLAINE: That'll be irrelevant if I die.

BAS: I'm not going to pretend like I care about anyone else or this city for that matter. Anyone I save or what I do, is practice.

BAS: I think I might actually be okay with that. Only because you'd be safer in the lab than anywhere else.

BAS: You're not going to die.

BLAINE: I'm a big believer in positive reinforcement. Give me a week to try and help you. If your speed doesn't increase enough that you could run over the water to Europe, I'll back off and focus solely on going to school.

BAS: You're the only one I care about saving, Blaine.

BAS: Are you going to try to train me like a dog? If I get faster and stronger, I get a treat?

BAS: I think you should still focus on school.

BLAINE: And you think this...incident involving me is a fixed point? And if it is, doesn't that mean that even if you get stronger and more powerful, there's nothing you can do?

BLAINE: You can do this without Bruce.

BAS: It's no going to stop me from trying. If I can't change it, what's the point of having these powers?

BLAINE: I think practice and training will make you faster, stronger, and better. And I think I could help.

BAS: There are things called fixed points, B. Details can change but the end result is always the same.

BAS: I needed Bruce and I needed S.T.A.R labs behind me to help with the training. You can help me too, though.

BAS: We were testing my top speed and I went too fast and ended up in the future... I don’t know how far in the future but I've done it a couple of times and it's always the same but in different ways.

BAS: I did but I promise I'll do whatever it takes to keep it from happening, B. I won't let anything ever happen to you again.

BLAINE: Sebastian...we need to get everything out in the open. If the only people we can trust now is each other, then you need to be honest with me.

BLAINE: If something dangerous is coming my way, wouldn't it be safer for me to know so we can work to avoid it?

BAS: There's such a thing as knowing too much though. It's not the I don't trust you but when you know certain things it can get dangerous.

BAS: But... my powers aren't only running at superhuman speeds. Well, it's apart of that but there's also more to it.

BAS: I accidentally time traveled once and what I saw wasn't something I ever want to happen.
