-very grumpy—but when it comes to Pete he will latch onto him like a leech (affectionately) … but the cons are: he’ll get punched.. probably.

So, the thing is that Shadow keeps his past hidden no matter what- no matter who you are to him, he has never told anyone really anything of importance—but all will be revealed in its own time.

In the fanfic, shadow at some point tells goldie that he's too young for cigarettes (or something like that) and also that half the Freddy's animatronics are literal children, which makes me wonder:

Are these ages something that can change with time? Or do animatronics remain the ages they were made at forever? (Sorry if this makes no sense, my wording is awkward 😅)

So, Shadow sees Goldie as a child, but he’s not. He just didn’t get to grow up and mature as the others did (him performing for just a few years and being thrown in the backroom for ten). Also including the fact that Goldie age regressed due to the trauma, he acts younger than he actually is. He is an adult age wise—and can act like so in rare moments—but mentally, he is not. That’s why Shadow said he was “too young.”

When Shadow was saying around half the animatronics are children, he was being serious, referring to the toys (or anyone else that acts as such). Since they were only recently introduced to the pizzeria—also being specifically for the younger kids—they act like actual children. Age wise, they are basically kids.

For your question, it depends. The toys, for example, are programmed to act more like kids … so they will act the same age no matter how old they actually get (I’m not sure if this will change for them in the future). But for the others before them, like Freddy, they matured/grew up when they got older. So, they do act like adults and technically are.

If I’m remembering right it has a tart aftertaste. And I feel like Goldie would hate anything even remotely bitter, so yeah. Shadow doesn’t mind a bit of bitterness though (he drinks so that’s probably why).

Shadow looks so fluffy i wanna hug and cuddle him

I feel like it would be funnier to have him not surprised about being hugged even though he hasn’t been hugged in a long time, rather that he’s shocked because the asks now have a physical form and chose to hug him (also because it’s a strange, featureless, eyeless, noseless, gray, cartoonish, humanoid-thing). Yes, he’s a very fluffy man ..and tall. Also no background because I hate making backgrounds.

Sorry about that, I wasn’t sure if people would be confused! Basically Goldie goes with Shadow’s plan to kill Freddy, but they almost get caught and have to leave the pizzaria and eventually go to Silly Pete’s. The asks and comic stuff just branch off from the fanfic I have on Wattpad/ao3.

So what would you do to give Freddy karma in the original aga comics

I’m kinda already doing that by using Shadow Freddy. In the AU, Goldie did pair up with him, and he did go along with the murder part (sort of a what-if scenario). And… they were about to get caught, so they left pizzeria. Obviously that’s not all that happened, but it’s a simple explanation.

Freddy basically gets PTSD from Shadow. Having constant hallucinations, nightmares, and anxiety of him. Also including the fear that they may or may not come back to kill him (the fear is pretty justified). Shadow is also supposed to represent quite a few things, one of them shows Freddy what he could of done or already did to a more extreme extent. Shadow is a whole other thing (I don’t want to reveal too much until the next chapters come out), he is not supposed to be seen as a good person either—Goldie’s just on his side because his mental state really blinds his decision making.

What are your thoughts on Freddys treatment of Goldie

To the actual canon itself, I completely hate him for that—yeah, you can be angry at someone for making such a big mistake (obviously manslaughter is bad), though, from his perspective I can sort of see where he’s coming from. However, that does not mean I excuse his actions. His treatment of Goldie was quite excessive for what he did.

If we’re taking about the AU, it’s still the same I’d say—he cares about his brother (just barely)—but he does have his own trauma from the past. Not as great as Goldie’s, but yeah. I still hate him in the AU, but I just wanted to use his issues to explain why he acts the way he does.
