I did end up meeting with him- not like, for a session or anything, just y’know, met with him- it was just… awkward. Really awkward. I mean- yeah, somehow the kid is qualified and all that, but he’s two years younger than me! Sure, if I was going to spill my guts to a kid I guess a qualified one is better than an unqualified one, but… it just felt wrong.

And also, I think Molly must have mentioned me to him before. He kept giving me weird looks. I think. It was kind of hard to tell with the glasses.

I did get to pet a sheep though! It was… weirdly calming. And soft. I tried to augment some afterwards, but it wasn’t the same.

But… I don’t know. Maybe I’ll try going back. If only to pet more sheep.

Anyway, granola bars, huh? That’s gotta be easier than muffins, right? I mean, you’d have to really screw up to burn a granola bar! Hah! …I have a feeling I’d still manage to-

Well… muffins aren’t too different from cupcakes, so maybe I’m on the right track after all! Though I can’t really drench a muffin in frosting to cover the fact that it’s burnt… ugh.

Lori’s a character I clicked with as soon as I listened to the audiobook, and I’m so glad my portrayal of her has reached other people. It had been over a year since I used this blog when I got a new ask a couple days ago so I was worried the recent posts would feel off, so I’m glad the writing still feels right u.u

Hey! Hah… yeah, it’s been a while. I’ve been… busy. Finally understanding why Molly complained about doing so much around here…

Dad’s been doing a little bit more around the shop… at least he was at first. But it’s fine! I took the advice a few people on here gave and augmented some assistants for the shop! They cover a lot of it… most of the time. Sometimes they just make a mess, but that’s fine! I just get another one to clean it, haha.

And… yeah. I’ve been eating.

I’ve been using some of the money that the shop makes which, uh… don’t tell dad to get microwave meals from the market. Tried cooking, but… heh. Turns out I’m pretty bad at it.

And baking supplies! I’m… still not a great baker. But hey, I made some cupcakes yesterday that were edible! Burnt and kind of crumbly, but a bunch of frosting covered that right up! Kind of.

I… haven’t heard from Molly. But I’m sure she’s… fine. She has to be.

I’ll get really good at making cupcakes by the time she comes back. An apology is always better with cupcakes. Is that a thing people say? It is now.

Did you ever prank your dad with the dozen Mollys? If so how did it go?

Hah! Better than you could ever expect!

For one, he didn’t even realize what was going on for like, the entire afternoon. I didn’t have the Mollys talk with him too much since making fake-real people interact is uh… iffy, but they’d just randomly be wandering through the shop.

Dad finally caught on around dinnertime when I had three Mollys sitting at the table. And even then, he only second-guessed it because there wasn’t a chair for him to sit in! I betcha I could have kept that going for months if they hadn’t directly gotten in his way.

It was hilarious though! Worth the talking to I got afterwards… mostly.

Here’s the thing about using my epithet to make people I know… it never ends well. Sure, I can pick out the parts of them they show to me, can replicate how they act around me, but… but it’s not real.

I can’t predict how they’ll act in situations I’ve never been in with them. I can’t form personalities and proper responses like I can with my characters, my creations. Replicating a real person just makes them feel… hollow. Fake.

Huh. That might explain why he’s always kinda awkward when I make him act as a villain. It’s not that he’s a bad actor or anything of course! His heart just usually isn’t in it… but maybe that’s just because he’s been playing the wrong role…

We’ll have switch it up next time. After all, I still need some experience being a villain if I want to impress Vincent!

Lorelai, what would be your ideal future?

Dang, that’s a pretty open question. I mean, there’s so many things!

I think I already mentioned to someone that I want to be an actor or movie director or something like that. It seems like a great way to use my powers and stories to make money, and it means I won’t be stuck in the toy store for the rest of my life.

And of course, once I have some stable money, I’m moving out. Hopefully taking Molly with me. We don’t need a big place, just something livable, and I can always spruce it up with my epithet.

And y’know… I wouldn’t be opposed to a sprinkle of romance. Just a touch. Romantic dinners by moonlight, walks on the beach…

B-but of course that stuff’s just an afterthought! Molly and a job. Those are the big two.

When I was recording Kent Williams as the Scaregrow for Epithet Erased: Prison of Plastic, I had him record some eyecatches for the show in case I need them.

Then I remembered that he's the narrator in Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood which is the show that inspired these eyecatch cards in the first place. And I still had his lines lying around, so...

Ohhh you must mean my favorite moment from last week’s adventure! Well… some of it went downhill, but not all of it was bad.

Out of it all… I think I liked Graham the best. Even if he caused some… unnecessary injuries, he’s one of my best creations to date! Also, the name is quite clever if I do say so myself. Heh, like Graham-cracker. He’s a s’mores dragon. Get it? Yeah?

So… yeah. He caused some ups and downs, but Graham is a pretty cool dragon. His acting could use some work, but he could get there. With time.
