Would you still love me if I was deemed a God?

RAMBLE: hoooooooooo I managed to finish this! This silly billy idea has been plagging my mind ever since I've finished watching Madoka Magica, and I've been procrastinating on getting this out of the paper bcs the design I imagined Karmor to have has...a pretty special place in my hearty heart. 😔

Basically! The idea is...what if Karmor could enter in some kind of "God-Mode"?

Like- what if his powers got so intense to the point he'd lose control over his own body, but instead of the Mad Crow controlling him, it would be the very embodiment of his powers? Crow would not have control over Karmor anymore as well, which would make for a ten times more TERRIFYING situation.

Karmor would still be conscious, however. But he wouldn't realize how much more powerful he is in this God-like state, to the point he looks at his friends and they're confused and somewhat terrified of him, but not to the point of not wanting to help him out.

Marks would appear on his body, all associated with stars(in my version), his eyes would go black and have stary irises, and suddenly jewelry and small details appear on his clothing with the material of bronze, his hair grows in length and stay trapped between two bronze balls instead of hairbands, and his usually expressive face would fall into a poker face.

Yeah that's FREAKY.

anyway heres what dorkmor over here would look like if goin god mode made him diva (but theres more just wait and see😈😈😈😈)

bc i love giving him a bird motif hed basically turn into this lanky sparrow-like bird thing. i took heavy inspo from sky cotl and harpies, but essentially he simoly becomes his love personified. hes warm, gentle, and doesnt lift a hand against anyone. he loves and loves and loves and loves and loves. he squirrels the people who have his heart somewhere safe and peaceful, away from the dangers of the world. if you touched him, hed feel like warm wax. giving light thats oh so soft and feeling almost impossibly fragile when in hand.

buuut,,,,, thats just one of two routes.😈😈😈

bc depending on what notion gets the best of him when the change happens (and bc i cant let karmor be happy), he becomes unrecognizable.

this time i took inspo from medieval depictions of unicorns and dragons. forever weeping, he'd only ever be found by the mourning. a small, melancholic creature only found by those deep in despair. handing out second chances to anyone fortunate enough to find him, but the weight of the consequences that follow him like a shadow make anyone think twice. an unnerving creature, its like looking into the placid eyes of a lamb in the forest at dark. not meant to be there and heralding the coming of death, of change. one could bring him out of this state if they presented him with something he loved, but they have to catch him first. :)

karmor can do this now that hes lost his face

hes got those reflective eyeshines in photos, but not because he actually has that layer in his eyes, but rather because the camera cant figure out what the fuck its looking at. makes for very spooky encounters if ur just minding ur own business only to run into this fucker in the dark

a scary fact about kayne though,,,,, probably that hes nearly killed a guy. and im not talking about during tqs or the saint bernard au. i mean before. kayne had a troubled childhood, which ive talked about olenty before. but he also got into a lot of fights, especially over things he was passionate about. the aforementioned fight he had with his friend group, though, was the worst of it. he beat one of them so black and blue they had a hard time breathing. and he had half a mind to keep going until they swallowed all of their teeth until one of the others brought up the fact that karmor still needed to be picked up. and the thing is, that friend couldnt go to thr hospital. all of them were off their parents health insurance, and none of them could afford the hospital bill or being around mandated reporters. so they had to be carted away by two others back to wherever they lived, recovering and likely out of work for some time.

and kayne doesnt even feel bad about it. they brought up his brother, called him mature for a middle schooler and said itd be okay for him to hang with a bunch of dropouts without his supervision. the only thing he regrets is going so far because he risked them going to the cops about it. none of them did, thank god, but the risk was still very much there.

Their name is “Cygnus” and they are a seraphoid

Age:???

Hight:6’6

Bounty hunter hp: 20yrs

Combat hp: 11yrs

Likes: literature,music and rain

Dislikes: loud people, people to full of themselves, hot weather

Weapon: doesn’t really use one mainly prefers using magic or anything that connects them with magic

Very bad at controlling emotions, has identity crisis because of their past and doesn’t know how to express it

They are a very odd individual interested in the world around and not so used to human contact

Very interested in humanity and how people work not the best at social cues but tries

Really wants to make new friends but at at the same time they accidentally scare most of the people that that get near them

Background:

After emerging from the nothingness into existence they find a dying boy that pleads for eternal rest “Cygnus” promises to grand that wish for the price of his individuality and control over him to be a host for them till the time is right, the boy accepts and gets possessed by the young seraphoid.

Cygnus starts to develop some of his characteristics and way of talking that make them act like the deceased young man but not enough in a way that seems uncanny.

“Cygnus” now starts to learn basic things like writing and walking and goes to the place the boy worked before his death and it was a lighthouse in which the boy was an apprentice. The condition there were inhabitable and hard to live in and the person that had to be the young boys mentor was a cruel and lazy man named Captain Vlasoski that thought of himself as god and Cygnus as the dog in training.

After years of inhumane work, abuse and dehumanization “Cygnus” snaps and kills their mentor with an axe after the slaughter they slowly start to shake till the skin of the boy got completely white and the new body of the seraphoid emerged from the husk that was once a young boy

Here he is !! My (updated) version of Karmor !

I’ve got quite a few fun facts about him in stock so here goes; in no particular order:

• He picked up on sign language surprisingly quick, to the point that he’s now learning different sign dialects. He likes learning in general.

• He does not like to draw attention to himself, especially if it’s from strangers. He much prefer staying back and observing and analyzing the crowd. Also looking for any potential emergency exits because he learnt the hard way that shit hits the fan quick

• He’s very superstitious, to the point of actively stressing out if he goes against what superstitions advise. Huge partisan of not provoking destiny by asking what could go wrong in any given situation. Albus’ shenanigans seem to prove him right every time so yknow

• Because he’s superstitious he makes a lot of trinkets from metal scraps, they’re supposed to bring the bearer luck. He has a bunch on himself, and gave a few of them to Mahatma and Hipswitch. Albus could not care less for them but Karmor snuck a bunch of them in his stuff. He needs the extra luck.

• He tends to compulsively braid when he’s stressed or anxious. Could be his hair, the fringes on his poncho, a piece of rope, someone else’s hair, no matter; he just needs to do something with his hands.

• Just because he’s anxious does not mean he likes to be babied. Hates it actually. To the point of actively going against what people advise him to do if he considers that they’re treating him like child. It leads to some fights with Hipswitch, and it did lead to the whole duel shenanigans.

• When it comes to his reality bending abilities, they’re linked to the huge scar that covers a significant portion of his body. They light up whenever Karmor uses his powers, but usually only the ones on his hands do. If the change is particularly significant (think bringing Mahatma back to life), then the scars will gradually all light up, ending with the one on his throat. His eyes light up too and he starts to cry uncontrollably. It’s not that painful while he’s using his powers (just a distant burning sensation), but the toll on his body afterwards is significant. His scars will hurt for days afterwards.

Aaaand I’m all done ! I like him a lot, he’s up there with Faithful for my favorite gba listeners

distinguishing traits/features after the cut —

• I’d say what differentiates him is his love for music (this may or may not be really cheesy buckle your seatbelts/j): Before being tormented by Mad Crow and ending up on Springrock, he was a singer and musician. He had a strong connection to his craft, so the fact that he has absolutely no recollection of it has left a hole in his heart that he’s unsure how to fill. The loss of his voice deepens this hole; it’s as if his instrument— in other words, his access to this part of him, or access to who he really is— has been stolen from him.

• ^ (he primarily played the electric guitar, and he probably liked bands like Ghost and Nightwish)

Powers:

• Using his power sort of looks like when you touch a plasma ball. He touches/gets close to whatever the subject of the change is, then he seems to attract some current of electricity and the lightning (?) coming from whatever he touched follows his hand(s). Nothing else too flashy happens in his hand-area, besides a tingly feeling in his arms

• When his power is used for an extended amount of time, faint markings ‘pour’ from his forehead. But this is rare and not really noticeable from under his bangs

• His hair will start to glow when he uses his power (like Rapunzel hehe)

• (^his hair continues to get progressively longer and bluer.)

Hair:

• I chose to give him blue highlights because 1. it’s my favorite color hehehe and 2. I thought that it might contrast the wild-western oranges and browns of Springrock and that’d it’d be weird enough to show how he doesn’t belong on the planet . though I’m not sure how rare people with glowing blue hair actually are on Springrock ..

• He’s started taking care of his hair less and less since arriving on Springrock. He’s considered chopping off the blue sections of his hair entirely but it wouldn’t really do anything

Personality/Extra stuff:

• He’s pretty short-tempered and looks upset the majority of the time… because he IS upset the majority of the time

• He spends a lot of time isolated in his room, reflecting on (and regretting) his actions. It doesn’t make him feel any better about himself at all. If he’s not in there reflecting, he’s sleeping
