Pride Knight Vol. III
Times are fucking scary for us trans folks and it's getting worse by the day. At every turn we meet animosity, moral panic and outright violence - it's more important than ever that we can count on our queer family to have our back.
We cannot be legislated out of existence but we can't fight back all by ourselves.
Stay vigilant and take care of your trans siblings.

being a leftist fallout fan is fun because you either run into people who understand your analyses of the series/background/characters or you run into brotherhood/enclave/legion/ncr dorks without no critical thinking skills who missed the point.

i’m curious. in the tags let me know a media property that lowers your opinion of somebody’s tastes when you find out they enjoy it, not because it’s genuinely harmful but because it sucks. bonus points if you explain why

Add one person on tiktok who's a friend from outside of tiktok and suddenly there's jokes about people with phone heads being trans.
Edit: It's Oliver from dial town (I had to scrub through the tags on the vid)

The pipeline from “I’m indifferent/slightly averse towards this popular ship” to “this ship shows up in every fucking unrelated fanwork and post and now I have a personal grudge against it because it’s so hard to avoid” is surprisingly short

My dad and I once had a disagreement over him using the adage "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger."
I said, "That's just not true. Sometimes what doesn't kill you leaves you brittle and injured or traumatized."
He stopped and thought about that for a while. He came back later, and said, "It's like wood glue."
He pointed to my bookshelf, which he helped me salvage a while ago. He said, "Do you remember how I explained that, once we used the wood glue on them, the shelves would actually be stronger than they were before they broke?"
I did.
"But before we used the wood glue, those shelves were broken. They couldn't hold up shit. If you had put books on them, they would have collapsed. And that wood glue had to set awhile. If we put anything on them too early, they would have collapsed just the same as if we'd never fixed them at all. You've got to give these things time to set."
It sounded like a pretty good metaphor to me, but one thing I did pick up on was that whatever broke those shelves, that's not the thing that made them stronger. That just broke them. It was being fixed that made them stronger. It was the glue.
So my dad and I agreed, what doesn't kill you doesn't actually make you stronger, but healing does. And if you feel like healing hasn't made you stronger than you were before, you're probably not done healing. You've got to give these things time to set.

In all seriousness happy late birthday to the game that made wandering the Mojave almost make you wish for a nuclear winter. From the deprived NCR the the vicious Legion there is not a single unlovable character
