i used to think that as the season went on the takes about helaegon would get more normal because they have no more material to misunderstand, but it seems to be the opposite. her showing up and saying one line to aemond is about him? her forgiving alicent is because she doesn’t want to cause him more pain? he flies to war for her and their children? and if you dare to ask where this is coming from, they point to tom’s quotes, and never once address what phia has said. because if they did, it would have to be about how these two can’t find common ground, they have no relationship, even as siblings. he loves their kids but not his wife, she doesn’t feel listened to, etc. and that’s before you even start on the idea of her having some kind of kinship with aemond (which i would take with a grain of salt since we haven’t seen it entirely in the show, but if they can swear aegon loves her despite not seeing that either, you gotta include this) It is so confusing to me to swear an actor is correct and then deny every thing else the other actor in this ship has said

i'm still shocked there's people who interpreted the episode 8 dinner scene as helaena "being amused by aegon's actions, including towards baela" and that she was smiling at aegon. like this is the hotd fandom, i've seen plenty of dense takes, but this one might take the cake at times.
