Mothers day Gift Guide

Mothers day is coming up and i’m pondering what gift’s I can get for my Mum or what I would like to receive.... I’m all about sustainability, so I’ve put together a few things I think would make the perfect Mothers Day gift and not break your budget or the earth. xx

1. Beeswax wraps - If you haven’t tried these yet, you must! Say goodbye to the dreaded cling wrap forever and don’t look back. They are made from cotton cloth and beeswax and keep your food fresher for longer. You can cover bowls of left overs, wrap your veggies, bread, cheese and more. 2. Socks - not just any socks, some real comfy good quality socks. In a town called Crookwell there is a store called Lindner Quality Socks, they make all socks on site from local fibres. So Comfortable and very Indulgent! www.lindnersocks.com.au

3. Knitting Kit - from yours truely (how could I not put myself on the list) The perfect time for mum to start knitting in time for winter my favourite is the Chloe Snood kit. 4. Soap Saver - this one is truely for the eco-warriors (I know it’s on my list). My Mum & I have been looking for something as an alternative to dishwashing liquid. I tried making my own, which was Ok but time consuming but them my mum remembered what her mum used to use.... a soap saver!! You can collect all your small pieces of soap (or just use a new bar) and shake it around in the water to crate suds... genius! 5. A Plant - I think a plant is a beautiful gift. It will live on (unlike flowers) and you can choose a really useful plant too. A few suggestions below

- lavender, you can dry the flowers and store them in your jumper drawer to repel moths

- Herbs, so useful when cooking

- Lemon tree, lemon can be used in so many ways - cooking, cleaning, fresh lemonade!

- Her favourite flower, this way instead of buying flowers from the shops she can get them straight from her plant
