Big content patches before an expansion can be overwhelming, stressful, and really hectic. Please remember that people aren’t ignoring you.

Many people are feeling just as spazzed out as you are over it.

Many people are feeling like they didn’t get the things done they needed to get done.

Many people get anxious over class changes too. (Lord knows I do.)

Many people will be on an OCD compelled competition with their OCD to get their wardrobe filled out because they need to have all 500 helms whether they’ll ever wear them or not. It isn’t their fault. It won’t be like this forever. 

Please, please, please take the time to eat a snack, drink enough, and take care of your personal stuff. 

Please, please, please remember that no one is ignoring you. 

Your role-play isn’t dying. Your partner/s and friend/s have not lost interest in YOU or your story.

PLEASE remember that whether it is this major patch or expansion itself that most of us have been through this before and that in the end, the dust will settle and things will be fine.

Prepare yourself mentally and emotionally for people just being a little quiet.

Ask if folks are up for discord or voice or just put on some upbeat music and try to enjoy exploring some of the new features yourself. And if they’re not, that’s okay. 

All in all, take a breath. Remember that it is just as frightening and exciting for everyone else as it is you. And we’re all in this together. Be a pal, add encouragement to this if you can.

Lady Devonshire Seen at Tournament of the Ages

Recently, Lady Anatheliea Devonshire, the Grande Dame of Fashion, was asked about her visit to the Tournament of Ages which is held yearly in Ice Crown at the Argent Tournament grounds.

“I had a wonderful time there,” the Dame offered exuberantly. “The people are always so friendly, the atmosphere is lively and exhilarating and it is always a joy to get to see My Tarts hard at work in a show. I saw several new acts as well as some old ones. And as ever, the Tarts delivered on a brilliant show.” 

“We heard that the show wasn’t the only portion of the Tart’s activities which had fireworks, my Lady.”

Anatheliea smiled broadly and ducked her head down to one side demurely. “Darling, a Lady never kisses and tells, even when it is for charity.” 

We left it at that with the Dame, though reports have trickled in that she donated generously to the Tarts who support local orphanages and charitable events. News on the streets indicates that the young fire thrower, that hot number Dicenne Amberlight was seen with Lady Devonshire and that it turned more than a few heads.
