So I finally decided to get around to trying pixilart. And absolutely love the app. Been cooking up a good story for awhile. Anyways though this is my oc. Juniper Persei. Or in other words Juniper the Hybrid. She is one of my more depth ridden characters and her back story is absolutely tragic. So this reality she’s in revolves around the time of Sonic forces.

To properly explain her character better before her lore, is that hybrids in this universe are looked down upon by those of other mobian races. Given their cross breeds. So hybrids aren’t very common just yet of the reality because of that hatred. While some welcomed them others despised them. The reason for this wasn’t just because of being cross between but fear of the hybrids strengths. A hybrids powers do not awaken till their around the age of six or seven. Their powers are stronger more so then a non hybrid as it’s multiplied 2x more so. While some are harder to pin point, the one way to spot a hybrid is by their eyes. They will have a distinct style to them such as Junipers. spiral eyes here that shift color with her emotions. Her story itself is about self acceptance.

Lore time (quick summary not the full story): warning (grim)

It all started with being in the village she was born in. She was left alone to raise herself ever since the villagers had taken her parents life for birthing a hybrid. So naturally the village despised her too. From tormenting her to throwing things. Her parents had passed when she was 5. By the age of 6 during a panic attack, her powers had awaken . That, being able to manipulate nature. Because of lack of control her powers at the time strictly hung around her emotions during that point in time and went haywire. Her powers lashed out taking her village down. Feeling she shouldn’t stick around she left that village after the atrocity that occurred. These powers of hers the more energy poured into them the more likely they negatively impact her as well such as leaving scarring along her body.

She would later meet a friend(not saying who because it’s a spoiler otherwise) but ultimately leave five years afterwards. Leaving her self to grow up alone for the remainder. She picked up becoming an inventor learning more ways to conceal her hybrid qualities for her own safety. The marks on her neck are from a previous trauma. One spoiler to throw in is she does eventually join the freedom fighters in the fight against eggman in forces.

Everyone..always thinks mobius is such a happy place, filled with just sunshine and rainbows and endless smiles when there isn’t some crazed maniac attacking. But I know the truth..the truth that this world can be at its absolute worst towards those just learning about the world that they didn’t ask to be apart of. How fate can twist even the most innocent minds to its whim. You don’t need a maniac trying to take over the world to teach you that. I should know…I’m one of the pawns in fates game that fell for her trap. Over and over. And now I can’t ever escape it…let’s just go to when this all started..to make this all make sense and work our way up to the present…okay?

(This is before any artwork of the story is put up. Chapter 1 is already almost completed as far as writing goes as for art it’s still in development.)
