any white at a protest who tries to go against police and deliberately provoke a response from them is not to be trusted and does not have the safety of black and brown people in mind.

Albertus Seba (one of my all-time favorite illustrators, so I say this with love) did absolutely stunning drawings of plants, invertebrates, and aquatic creatures. But mammals? Not so much.

favourite forgotten parts of the hp books: weasley’s wizard wheezes gets a fair amount of patronage by aurors who apparently are so bad at their jobs they have to resort to joke-shop products for their invisibility cloaks and instant darkness powder

The images in Dracula movies are always him skulking around the castle stalking people but whenever I picture him I remember the part of the book where he was trying to clean his library for Johnathon so he would like him and want to hang out with him more but Johnathon started coming in so he freaked out and grabbed a book and dove onto the nearest couch and pretended to act awkwardly natural and like he was there the whole time while Johnathon walked in
Or the time he was trying to pretend there were servants so Johnathon wouldn’t think he was weird and Johnathon found him carefully making his bed for him and folding his clothes for him and setting them neatly on the chair
Or the time he shaved Johnathon for him while caressing his neck
Or the time Dracula’s many vampire “wives” accused him of never loving anyone and he looked sadly at Johnathon, whom he thought was asleep, and said that he too could love
Or the time the women tried to bite Johnathon but he yelled at them that Johnathon was his and they couldn’t have him
Or the time he spent almost four pages gushing to Johnathon about how much he loved England and couldn’t wait to get to be around people again and showed him all of his England books to try and impress him because Johnathon was from England and that he even has books of the English train schedules just so he could spend time pretending he was in England about to catch a train
Or the time he was going over the letters Johnathon was going to mail and he saw that one was written in code so he couldn’t read it and he got so upset he threw it in the fireplace and made Johnathon write another in normal speak because Johnathon was insulting their friendship
Or how Johnathon wrote in his diaries about all the “strange” things they did together at night, to the point where many historians have pointed out that the use of that term in that context and time period usually referred to homosexual activities
Dracula was a bisexual little dork do not let anyone tell you differently
