hi my angels x on the weekend myself and my partner got into a bit of a car accident & we’re both okay, but my partner had to undergo some surgery. i got away with barely a scratch, but i’m still going to have to focus on helping her recover, as well as taking care of my own mental and physical health during this time. this means i unfortunately won’t be able to run this roleplay as real life should always take precedence. i’m so sorry for this, babes, i had so many plans for this family and had the first event and first two tasks written up already. i hope you can all forgive me, and that you can all find a place to write together like i hoped you would be able to write here. hoping to see some of you around in the future if i reboot, or if i join any other rp fam’s in the future.

i have never written an aesthetic paragraph and i don't really know where to start, any advice? thank you <3

✧ ░ .·° GOOD MORNING, DARLING ! —— thank you for sending this lovely lil question in ! —— before i answer, i’d just like to say that the aesthetic paragraph is nothing to worry over :~) i put it in there more for you than i did for me, honestly ? it’s really there just to nudge you in the right direction and help you get a better sense of who you’re going to be writing for here at idéefixehq ! :~) as for a little advice, what i do when i start writing aesthetics for my muse is i try and pin down a few key personality traits, key points in their past, and objects and things that remind me of them ! the use of metaphor and simile are really handy when writing aesthetic paragraphs ; e.g. if they’re a warm muse, are they like honey and tea —— calming & renewing ? or their warmth is akin to the kind of happiness you feel when you hear the person you love calling your name. similarly, if they’re a rough muse, do they burn bright like fire ? or are they cold & unfeeling —— a dark & lonely winter ? by the end of your little paragraph, you should be able to read through and get a distinct sense of your muses personality, dominant moods, hobbies, history, or any other little tidbit of knowledge that you think is important for the general feel of your muse ! if you need any further help, please just let me know ! i’d be more than happy to assist you one on one as well through im :~) x
