@abcywonder
People from the church of night were followers of the Dark Lord, Satan himself. They all had the ability of sensing other witches per their familiars, and Ambrose’s trust golden retriever Leviathan always alerted him of other individuals who gave off the same energy given to them by the Dark Lord.
Ambrose had been walking with his companion in the hotel bar, ignoring any possible signs that didn’t allow animals because truly didn’t care. He had been helping his cousin with training, and trying to figure out exactly where his Aunties were and how on Satan’s earth were they going to get back to Greendale and their time period.
Ambrose hadn’t realized that his companion had walked off until the drink was already ordered and in his hand. The dog was currently being pet by a man that Ambrose had never seen before, but something about him automatically gave off a very dark vibe. “I guess you can say he has great taste in men.” He took a sip of his drink, leaning against the wall. “And he’s also very attracted towards magic users.”

Billy had no memory of his past life, and had been living in chicago for a long time training with the other members of the magical community. At the moment he decided to play the game of pool, using his abilities to see every outcome of which he could hit the ball - not the best ways of doing it but he didn’t really care because he was playing alone.
That’s when he spotted someone who triggered a flash his eyes, that caused him to completely drop his pool cue. They were staring at him, and Billy didn’t know how to properly walk up to them. “Hey...I...do we know one another?”

“ you can’t seriously believe i’d make it that easy , doll , “ chuckle to leave his lips as he shakes his head gently , but dark red eyes linger on the other as he speaks , taking note of the other’s words . “ interesting . i can’t say that i’ve heard much of THAT around hogwarts , “ he says easily ; before shrugging . “ i , unfortunately , get my magic from some stupid woman i call my mother . i would be interested in seeing — just about anything from you . magic or OTHERWISE . “
“-or you could because i’m the king of exceptions.” ambrose was intrigued, the dark side of him came out at the right time in ways that sabrina was not even aware of. “again, i’m one of a kind. would you believe i was put on house arrest for a conspiracy to blow up the vatican?” he loved throwing out that line, giving the man a wink as he lowered his tone of voice. “can’t say i’ve heard many people preferring the devil over their own mum’s. you’re one of a kind. it’s hot.” he raised his eyebrows at the comment. “feel free to invite me to a private setting and i can easily show you everything.”

Considering nobody has come at him with a knife in their hand, and that all the wildlife in the city seems to be both alive and peaceful, Parker can definitely say he has been stuck in worse circumstances. But the difference between constant danger and being stuck, is that in one scenario he can do something, and in the other he’s powerless. Perhaps this is why he’s so eager to be useful. When something shiny on the pavement catches his attention, he crouches down to inspect the item, caught off guard when somebody reaches out to grab it at the same time as him. “Sorry,” he replies reflexively. “Was that yours?”
Ambrose had his golden retriever Leviathan with him, the dog was a familiar and didn’t even need a leash. He had the companion with him often, and they were great friends of the sorts. Sabrina really opened his eyes with familiars, especially the partnership aspect. They were walking when he didn’t realize that part of his collar’s golden locket had come off, something that meant something to the goblin familiar. Ambrose turned around. “Oh shit, thank you..” He looked at the male, a big smile on face. “As handsome as you are, I can sense the tenseness on your face. You alright?”

“Some of the wizards and witches where I’m from age slowly too but I’m not really sure how it works.” Brows furrowing as he couldn’t help but think of Dumbledore and Ollivander, wrinkling his nose, “Wow. I can’t believe you’ve really been alive for so long. Do you still have all of your memories?” His cheeks felt as though they were on fire quite certain he resembled that of a TOMATO at this point, “I…trust me. You’d still be hot even if you weren’t around me.” Hugo admitted, nervously chewing upon his bottom lip, “Well okay…I just…can’t promise I won’t blush every time you compliment me.” He admitted with a chuckle, nervously rubbing at the back of his neck, swallowing thickly before he leaned forward, placing his hands on the middle of table as he purposefully brushed the back of his hand against Ambrose’s. The next statement took him off guard, swallowing thickly as he blinked a couple of times, “Oh?” Hugo questioned, his breathing shallowing slightly. Was it getting hotter in here? It felt like a sauna. “Well…what if I were to say that…if you wanted to…you could do more than just MENTALLY undress me?” He propositioned with the cock of his brow, knee nervously bouncing as he waited for Ambrose to retract his offer or burst out laughing. Mirroring the intention of his hands, he presses his knee against the inside of Ambrose’s thigh, perfectly sliding in between his legs underneath the table. Though with the revelation of information, Hugo was frowning, “That’s bloody weird…So obviously we’re from different universes then? Don’t know if funny would be the way to describe it.”
“Every single one of them, thankfully. And I’m down to make some with you.” Ambrose prided himself off his smooth talking abilities and knowing the exact words to say. He noticed the blush and planned to keep it going because the male was adorable with them. “Well, it’s good I’m around you.” Ambrose was intrigued by the other wizard, and had every intention of letting him know just how attracted he was with him. “Keep blushing. Red is totally your color.” He felt the male’s touch, and had every intention of making contact in every way that he could. His gaze kept in line with the other’s as he made sure to lean in even further. Once Hugo made the statement that really sealed the deal, Ambrose tugged the cuff of Hugo’s sleeves. It caught him off guard when he felt Hugo’s leg. “I’d teleport us to my room so I can do that more you’re talking about.” He made his tone of voice lower, now rubbing Huge’s hand with his index finger. “We are, but we’re in the same one now which means we can make our time count.”

“ i could name a someone else i find alluring , “ he says shamelessly , gaze lingering on the other for a moment too long , before turning back to the book in hand , small shrug to come to his SHOULDERS and fall from them just as quickly . “ it is . of the sort — a book for one of my classes , actually . “ a pause to come from snake , raising an eyebrow at the other . “ do go on. “
“ and who might that be? “ ambrose said, raising his left eyebrow because he wanted to hear it from the other male. the man seemed smart, and something else that he still couldn’t put a finger on. “ i’m pretty into studying all things magic focusing much on the occult. “ he grinned. “well, my powers stem from the Dark Lord himself. i’m a worshipper of satan.” ambrose had a grin on his face but his tone remained serious.

“it’s fine,” the reassurance is undercut by the fact that his voice is still tense and stilted, “just that some people’d take that in a bad way.” the boy reminds miles of jesse - the energy, bright voice and frantic need to be moving all the time. a pang of loneliness fills his chest for a brief moment before he manages to push it beneath the surface again. “’course, it was no problem. might consider keepin’ it somewhere more secure in the future.”
“yeah, i’m a person who people tend to get tired of quickly. comes with..the job and everything else i’ve been through.” the man seemed to be opposite of wally, who was all over the place and loud, and the man seemed more serious and as if he’s been through a lot. “you okay? i know you don’t know me and probably a weird question..but...i don’t know i feel like I should ask.”

“that isn’t funny,” miles isn’t sure what point of the ambrose’s words he’s referencing - all of it makes his shoulders tense and jaw clench too-tight. you could be sultans - the man in the yellow suit’s words still ring in his ears - you could have kingdoms! his family never wanted fame. pa wanted to fish, ma wanted her family, jesse to see the world, and miles? he wanted - wants - peace, maybe. the peace of rest. of seeing his family grow beyond round cheeks and blonde hair. fingers clench uneasily. “none of it.”
ambrose quickly realized the unfortunate consequences of what he’d said. in his own mind he’d thought it was an interesting fact, but clearly he was very wrong. his face showed how bad he felt. “sorry. i didn’t mean to offend you...that was very inconsiderate of me.” miles hated immortality in the book series, and ambrose felt as if he was already on strike 2. “can we start over?”

“y’shouldn’t talk like that,” he replies, voice uneasy and gruff, “works people up.” miles has long ago decided not to question people on their oddities, as asking questions only makes others come up with ones of their own. better to let things happen and remain ignored than worry over other people and incur their curiosity. “miles tuck. miles.”
“sorry, sorry.” wally rubbed at the back of his head. “i’m used to being around people who see my situation as an odd but good occurrence.” he forgot that people weren’t from the same world as he was where there were literal gods, magic users, and enhanced individuals. the man’s name sounded familiar but he couldn’t put a finger on where. “Thank you for my wallet. I have such a quick mind that I tend to forget things and drop things really easily. I have this constant burst of energy so it’s hard for me focus and calm down at times.”

the wallet vanishes and miles blinks, hard. “ - ‘m not gonna ask,” he replies to the motion, the idea that the object has somehow been moved from this man’s hand to his apartment without his body taking it there. he supposes he might be a bigger oddity than that. “miles tuck. odd name you’ve got.” spellman. it makes something in him writhe, something that reminds him of the looks the people in town had given him after rose left, having called out claims of witchcraft. “good t’meet you, though.”
ambrose’s eyes widened, the man introducing himself was quite the treat considering it was a story that he’s read countless times. this wasn’t the second person from a story, but was definitely one of the more interesting. “i’m a witch..” he realized exactly the memories he could bring for the male considering the background from his story. “it is quite unique, isn’t it. and miles, this is going to be abnormal for you to hear but i’m well aware of who you are. it’s great to meet you too.” he chuckled. “i know it sounds weird but..where i’m from you’re from one of the best children books ever written. your families’ story and immortality has been the subject of many classroom discussions to scholarly debates. you’re pretty famous where i’m from..”

“this yours?” his voice is a low, quiet sound, rough-edged and still holding the mild twang his words have always had. miles figures he could’ve trained himself out of old speech patterns in the time he’s had, but - never really saw the point, truly. a wallet is held in work-calloused hands and he offers it to the other with a mild tilt of the head. “i found it on the ground, figured it must’a belonged to someone ‘round here.”
wally’s eyes shot up completely, not expecting that his wallet was mixing. using his super speeding ability to feel around every pocket and spot that he could. “oh man...thank you so much.” he sighed in relief. “i’m from the distant future, you think we would have this nailed down at this point. thank you so much.” his hand extended faster than the speed of light. “Wallace West. You can just call me Wally.”

ambrose felt the back of his pants, not realizing his leather wallet had fallen out of his pocket. “holy shit, thank you.” he held the wallet in his hand for a few moments before it completely poofed out of his hands. “better to keep it in my room in my bag so then I know where it is.” he thanked the man, giving him a wide smile. “i’m ambrose spellman.” he gave the man a wide smile, finding him oddly adorable in a mature way.

open book, tired eyes pretending to be interested, fingers tapping against the wooden desk carelessly : remus was caught. it wasn’t as if he hated the other. no, that was a very strong word. it simply felt like he was constantly on edge by his presence. he supposed he couldn’t run away any longer, however.
“ you caught me, ” he finally released, closing the book before him without a second thought. sighing lowly, he ran his hand over his hair before locking eyes with the male before him. “ and please, for the hundredth time, it’s remus. ”
consider him interested, his eyebrow raising at the mention of a bar. perhaps he needed the time off. a quick reliever in the form of a couple of drinks, a few giggles if kevin was up for it. he had tried to deny the gesture by hiding away in the library but there was no use in trying any longer. besides, it might turn out to be a great night. “ fine – i wasn’t even reading that anyway, ” rising up from his seat, hands ran over to smooth over his clothes. remus licked his lips softly before turning back to him. “ lead the way. ”
“fine. i’ll call you remus but i think remy is much cuter.” he saw the look in the man’s eyes, giving him a wide smile as the human boy teased him. the last thing he was going to do was keep letting him read his life away when there was so much to do in the town.
“reading is important and i’m a big fan of books, but there’s also a social side of yourself that deserves to be considered.” kevin reached onto the wizard’s clothing, pulling the wizard towards the door. “sorry, but this is just so you don’t get distracted on the way.”
once they were outside the door he let go of his shirt, quickly dusting him off. “okay, so we are getting drunk and you must really not know me if you think we aren’t going to dance.” the bar wasn’t far, but they were going to the bar that was not just for the casual drink but dancing and all.

“You can uh…take that seat if you’d like. It would appear I’ve been stood up.”
“Thank you..I...I’m sorry to hear that.” Billy took the seat in front of the man, not really knowing exactly what to say. “If it makes you feel any better, I constantly feel like I’m missing something. I have these amazing abilities but feel like I’m just missing out.”

“Why are so many people running around like they have no idea what’s going on? You know what? Nope, nevermind, don’t care” she said as she took a sip from her coffee. “It’s actually weirdly entertaining?”
“Tell me about it. Being trapped in a different universe is my specialty. Everyone just needs to calm down.” Johnny shrugged, as this was a normal day for him. “I don’t care either. I’m just here to stop bad guys, crack wise jokes, and look pretty.” He nodded. “I agree completely.
