Pairing: Shoto Todoroki x Reader
Warning: Me yapping about his childhood trauma, Endeavor being a bad father, dysfunctional todoroki family.
Summary: just me talking about feelings, I have no idea where I wanted to go with this one.
Tumblr media
Love, Comfort and Peace.
Shoto thinks that these were the things he never got to experience during his childhood. As far as he remembers it, his entire childhood he tried to chase a 'safe space' that had never existed, not in his family home, at least. He remembered how during his childhood, he had pushed himself harder everyday thinking if he performed good in his training sessions with his father, his father wouldn't punish his mother, that they would actually be able to live like a family, only for a few hours.
Oh, but how wrong and naive his little self was.
No matter how hard he worked, nothing changed. His mother was met with the same treatment and his siblings wouldn't even look at him because of his father.
For a little boy, it was too much to handle. The constant melancholic and scary atmosphere used to suffocate him, it would creep up on him and strangle his throat until he felt he couldn't breath freely anymore, there would always be an uncomfortable lump in his throat that he couldn't swallow down.
The suffocation wasn't the only thing he received from his childhood home. No, there was more. The look of paranoia and fear that he would see in his siblings' and mother's faces, they never voiced it but he knew they were all afraid, afraid of him turning out like his father.
And shoto couldn't help but understand them, why wouldn't they be afraid? After all he was supposed to carry endeavor's legacy, the only purpose of his birth, wasn't it? He hated it so much.
There was always this give and take he had noticed in the house. If somebody did exactly what his father asked, they were praised and if they didn't live by his father's set rules then God knows what would happen because his father was an unpredictable man. He never loved his father because of all the abuse he put everyone through, but he couldn't bring himself to hate endeavor either because he was his father, after all. Naturally, when one of the parents is too unpredictable to rely on, the kids seek sanctuary in the other parent and he thinks that is what he did as well.
His mother, his sweet darling mother, had always been there for him. Yet, he sensed a fear in her, a quiet apprehension he knew she'd deny now, but one he'd always recognized.
Love definetely didn't come easy from his parents, it was only given to him by his father when he performed well in his training or somewhat out of fear by his mother. They definitely didn't hate him but they couldn't fully give their love to him either.
Comfort was entirely out of the picture. He knew his father never had a good emotional Intelligence, all that he ever worried about was his ambition and as for his mother, she couldn't provide it to him. Sometimes he felt bad for his mother, drove into insanity by his father, he had wondered how life would have been like for his mother if she wasn't married off to the hero endeavor.
Shoto knew that all of it was what made him who he was. A hero, yes. But behind the glamour of it all, he thinks he also became a person who was hard to love, made it hard for him to be vulnerable and awkward when it came to his feelings. He had very much wanted to change that image of himself.
But he realized it was not easy, everytime there was something that pulled him from achieving it, it was familiarity he concluded, familiarity of the years of trauma that he had been through that pulled him back.
But then you crash into his life like a stray piece of space rock he never saw coming, you with your bubbly laughs and sparkling eyes made his hear beat faster than ever, it wasn't 'safe' but you, without knowing, made him realize how it was better to take risks than to be safe. You who gave him all the love and comfort in the world without expecting anything in return from him.
He remembered how a few years ago when he was a bit of both—sad and angry at himself—he had taken to sitting in the cold outside as a way to punish himself, going over all the what ifs after a failed Mission.
If only he was a few minutes early, he could have saved more people. If only he was more careful, he could have caught the villan.
So many If onlys until he had felt a warm blanket being draped over his shoulders. He had turned only to see you sitting by his side, you had given him a small smile before taking one of his hands in yours as you traced the pattern his veins formed on his wrist.
"It is alright, Shoto. You do not have to carry the guilt alone, I am here for you, always remember that?" You had said. He had never told you what had been eating him up and yet you somehow already knew.
Those simple words had rocked his world off its axis and he had felt a dam of feelings broke inside him. Suddenly the uneasy lump in his throat from childhood was back but unlike that time, it had been there because he had finally been experiencing what it was like to be seen and understood. To be truly loved and cared for, he felt something sting in his eyes, no he wasn't going to cry, he had told himself and despite all the things he felt, the only thing he had said to you was, "It is cold out here, you shouldn't be here,"
You had shrugged him off as though you didn't care about your well being in the slightest, "I do not want to be anywhere but by your side right now." You had replied so easily.
And just like that he had finally let out everything he had ever felt up till that moment, he finally allowed himself to cry in your arms and to be comforted by your sweet words and even sweeter kisses on his forehead.
So now when shoto opens the door to your apartment and finds all the lights off, he knows what is going on. And without a second thought, he rushes to your shared bedroom where he finds you underneath all the blankets.
"It is alright, love. I'm here now," he whispers it over and over in your, wishing he could chase away everything that was bothering you by just that. He wraps his body around yours, spooning your body against his as he whispers I love you to you over and over again.
"Shoto!" You sob into his chest, already feeling a lot better because he is here now, with you.
Love, Comfort and peace.
He thinks again, these weren't something he knew but for you he sure as hell would try. So that he could give only the best to you.
And if he fails in doing so? Then he would try again and again and again.
Why?
Because you had been his hero. And he would very much like it to be known to you that he loves you.

Pairing: Kageyama Tobio x Reader
Summary: In which, Kageyama goes to support his crush and almost kisses her.
Reader plays Basketball.
Tumblr media
The entire stadium roared with glee, or at least it looked that way to him. The lights flashed in his eyes, people cheering all around him, he could see some of the team members running onto the court to hug or jump on the ones standing tired but excited, nonetheless, on the court and some of the older teammates were crying out of joy. His heart was thumping so loudly he could hear it in his chest.
And it was all just by watching a match, not playing it. The funny thing was that it wasn't even a volleyball match that he had come to watch, but he would be lying if he said he wasn't hooked by the end of it. The last few seconds of the match replayed in his brain like a tape as he saw your team lining up to bow their thanks to the crowd.
Your team was a point behind the opponents, and the opposite team was doing everything in its power to keep the ball and to defend the hoop.
Just when seven seconds were left and everyone had almost given up hope, you stole the ball from the opponent's player as she was too focused on your teammate who was in front of her. Before her teammates could warn her, you were already off with the ball, surprising everyone and instilling hope in your team once again. Tobio had watched it all very closely and felt the hope that your team did when you stole the ball, but it wasn't just hope that made its way into his chest, there was also something else that fluttered in his chest.
He had watched as the players from the opposite team came forward to block your path, while the others shadowed behind your teammates—who were getting their heads back in the game once again.
Five Seconds.
Two players came to block off your path. But that didn't faze you, you took the shooting stance from outside the three-pointer line.
Four Seconds.
It was a gamble, the entire stadium held its breath as if a single breath could change the trajectory of the ball.
Three seconds.
The opponents put their hands up to stop you from shooting the ball, but the ball had already left your hands.
Two seconds.
The ball went in a projectile motion before it bounced against the hoop once, twice, and finally falling into the hoop.
And just like that the game had been won by your team which opened the doors to the nationals for your team.
Back to the present, he smiled proudly, his eyes never straying from your figure as he watched you thank and bow to the audience and the coach after shaking hands with the opposing team. Your entire school shouted words of encouragement and congratulatory messages to your team for winning your prefecture qualifiers and making it to the nationals.
Tobio got up from his seat and navigated towards you once he saw the team dispersing to pack their things, his legs carrying him straight towards you, never stopping in between to even glance at his surrounding.
"Hey, Nice match!" Tobio mumbled as soon as he got close enough to you.You turned around with a huge smile plastered on your face when you heard his voice, "Tobio-chan!" You gushed, engulfing him in a hug and Tobio reciprocated. Even though you were covered in sweat, he tried to pull you closer. He could feel your elevated heartbeat from the game, and yet he noticed his own matching yours.
"Thank you, I am so happy that we made it to the nationals," you laughed with mirth in your eyes as you pulled away from the hug. Tobio couldn't help but miss your warmth but kept his hands at his side to prevent himself from pulling you close again. A content sigh escaped his lips as he saw you laugh, the corners of his lips twitching into a smile of his own.
"Thanks for coming to see the match," you said as you finally took him in. He had definitely grown taller because of all the jumping he had been doing in volleyball, you noticed. His face had become a little more defined than when you last saw him, your cheeks growing red, and it wasn't just from the game you had played.
"It means a lot to me, really," you added a little breathlessly, your eyes never leaving his, and his doing the same to yours.
"Wouldn't have missed it for the world," Tobio said way too quickly, taking one of your hands in his as he mindlessly rubbed circles on the back of your hand. You hummed, acting as though your heart didn't just skip a beat because of him.
"It has been long, how have you been?" you asked, genuine curiosity lacing your voice.
"Three months," he frowned as if the thought of not seeing you for three months repulsed him.You laughed at his tone.
"Right, but I'm sure Karasuno couldn't be that bad, or is it just that you miss me?" you teased him.
"It is definitely the latter," he said softly, and the serious tone made you look at him again.
When you both were at Kitagawa daiichi, you two were joined at the hip, always together, same class, seats beside each other. But that all changed when you decided to go to different schools in high school.
Your train of thoughts came to a halt when you saw him getting even closer to you; you didn't step back, your eyes staring into his. You felt his breath on your face as he leaned down slightly, and you were sure he could hear your heart beating so fast.
"I missed you, a lot," he emphasised, his hand coming up to caress your face, and your breath hitched. His hands holding your face with so much care, it felt like he was handling a porcelain doll.
Suddenly it was just you and him. The bright lights of the stadium, the Aoba Johsai banners and the crowd faded away from your vision and only tobio remained.
Your brain was up in la-la-land, your brain and heart telling you it was finally happening; you could feel it, you could even see him leaning in.
Your crush from middle school was about to kiss you, tell you how much he loved you, and then you to marry him. Heat rose to your cheeks. Okay, maybe your brain was exaggerating the last part, but whatever this was between you two, you were loving every second of it.
You saw him closing his eyes, and you followed suit. His hand tilted your face a little, and you felt his breath directly hit your lips. Your heartbeat was so loud now you could hear it in your ears, and you two were so close that you could feel his too. You leaned into him.
"What the fuck are you two doing?" Someone sneered, the familiar voice made you both jump back from each other.
All the harsh stadium lights flooded back in your vision as if mocking you.
You turned around to see your fuming brother, who was literally being restrained by Iwazumi. If not for him, Oikawa would have probably landed a punch or two on Tobio by now. Iwazumi only rolled his eyes at Tooru as he held him back from doing anything stupid.
In the distance, you heard your teammates call you because the coach was going to treat you all for winning the match.
You groaned, feeling the need to scream at your brother for ruining the moment. You were going to kill him later, but first you had a feast to enjoy with your team and absolutely had to rant about how your brother had ruined your almost kiss. You sighed, shaking your head as you quickly packed off your stuff to join your team.
"Tobio-chan, I am really going to land a punch on you today!"
"See you later, Tobio-chan!" You threw a smile at tobio over your shoulder.
'Maybe not the right time'
You both thought while sighing simultaneously.

Pairing: Yuta Okkotsu x Wife!Reader
Summary: Yuta's Birthday, cake being thrown at him, you two have kids.
I found the image on pintrest. Credits to the owner.
Tumblr media
It was 12:11 AM and Yuta was tired, so utterly tired that even dragging himself home felt like a magnanimous task, he wanted nothing more than to throw away his dirty clothes—that were covered in the blood of various first and special grade curses he'd eliminated through out the day—and go to bed. Being a special grade sorcerer meant, a lot of work was thrown his way and even though he could have said no, protecting others was something yuta had taken very seriously since high-school.
A sigh left yuta as the elevator dinged indicating his floor had arrived. He quickly walked off the elevator towards his flat, his cursed weapons dangling behind him on the floor as he walked.
'Almost there, I could finally sleep it off!' he thought to himself as he furiously typed in the pass code. As soon as he opened the door, he saw a perfect cake hurling straight towards his face.
This was not what he had expected! His special grade sorcerer training kicked in and he easily doged the cake, the cake now stuck flattened on the opposite wall of his flat. Yuta swung his head back to the flat's enterance to comprehend what was going on, and saw you standing in the doorway with a pretty pout on your face.
"Oh well," You shrugged, "I knew this would happen."
"What was that?" Yuta asked in confusion, his bag with the cursed weapon falling on the ground from his shoulder as he once again took in the sight before him with wide confused eyes.
"Suprise gift!" You snorted as you extended your arms, expecting yuta to step in and give you a hug.
"Yeah, I am indeed suprised," he mumbled with a smile as he stepped closer to you, his arms coming to rest on your lower back as he pulled you closer to him, his face burying in your shoulder as he took in your scent, he inhaled your perfume as if it could chase away the tiredness from the day. Just then you arms tightened around him a little bit more but he didn't think much about it, still lost in the feeling of you pressed against him and the scent that was so uniquely yours that it calmed him to his very bones.
"I have him!" Suddenly, you yelled over your shoulder still holding onto him tightly, he looked up from your shoulder to see what the commotion was about and that was when he fell for it, a similar cake from earlier was thrown directly at his face once again but this time he couldn't move.
With a loud 'thunk' the cake was deposited on his face, he could taste it on his lips, everytime he drew a breath, he felt the cream around his nose, his entire face felt creamy and gooey. His hand frantically coming to his face to wipe off whatever layer of cake he could from his face.
He heard his two boys laughing unapologetically on the floor, clutching their stomachs, "We got you, dad!" His 4 year old giggled.
Yuta groaned as he still tried to wipe the cake off, "What was this about?"
"Well, your birthday gift but since we knew you would be able to dodge the cakes, we improvised," You explained laughing lightly with your kids, your hands coming up to help him wipe it off, he pouted as he looked at you.
"Oh I bet it is funny," he glared at the three of you in mock offence, "Let me be a part of it, too!" His hands encircled the three of you and brought you all close to him. He started rubbing his face on his kids and you to get the cake on you all as well.
"EWW,"
"NOOOO,"
"DAD!! AHHAA," His kids screamed and struggled in his grip as they got their fair share of the cake on their faces and clothes. It was now yuta whose laughter rang in the entire house followed by his boys protests and struggles.
Meanwhile, you just accepted your fate grinning at him as he rubbed his cheek against yours.
"Happy birthday, Yuu," You told him over your kids shouts, looking into his softly. His heart swelled, he could hear it beat in his ears.
Yuta simply hummed with a small smile of his own on his face before he dived down to seal his lips with yours.
Yep, Yuta wasn't feeling so tired after all.

Pairing: Okkotsu Yuta x Drunk!Reader
Summary: In which you tell Yuta how much you love him.
Tumblr media
"I love you," You mumbled from across the table with a lopsided grin plastered on your face. "You are so pretty that it makes my heart beat so fast,"
"You have said that several times now," Yuta smiled down at you with the star-struck smile of his that made your already wobbly legs stagger a bit more.
He quickly made his way from across the table to your side in order to stabilize you on the chair that you were sitting, your arms looped around his neck like clockwork as he pushed you back against the chair.
Earlier, Yuta had come home to find you drunk out of your ass and half of the drawing room was in utter mess. Yuta, being the sweet person he was, had cleaned the mess and was now preparing something for you to eat so that you could stomach the alcohol you had consumed before.
"Seriously? What happened for you to drink so much?" He asked, worriedly as he stroked your hair out of your face. In response, all you did was smile up at him and kissed his wrist. His hand came to a standstill because of what you did and he gazed down into your eyes.
You pulled him down towards you by your arms that were still entangled around his neck, your faces getting impossibly close and you could hear each breath he took, his breath reminded you to breath as well and not to just get lost in his perfect ocean of eyes but it wouldn't matter since you were willing to drown in them for eternity if it meant you would forever be able to gaze at them.
The eyes that were directed at you with so much love and the way he held onto you was so gentle as though you were made out of some fragile glass. As a sorcerer who fought curses on the Daily, the irony almost made you laugh.
You huffed out, your breath catching In his throat as he countinued to stare at you with the same lovesick expression, the same expression you were sure you were sporting right then as well.
"I love you so much you have no idea," you breathed out, your lips brushing against his as you spoke, "So much so that it makes my heart ache with joy whenever I look at you."
Without any warning, Yuta smashed his lips against yours and held you tightly, you almost squealed at the impact. His grip on you was firm as though the world would end and the cosmos would collapse and cease to exist if he let you go. But if there was one thing you were sure about then it was that even if the world were to end, Okkotsu Yuta would never let you go.
"I know," he mumbled softly in between kisses, "because I feel the same when I look at you, love."

Pairing: Akashi Keiji x Reader
Word Count: 1.7k+
Summary: You thought you would be able to do it all but when things get complicated and you feel overwhelmed due to your upcoming exam, Akashi keiji is there to hold you still and remind you how he has always got you.
Tumblr media
As a third year, you had quite a burden on your shoulder. From worrying about which university you wanted to go to, to what you wanted to do in your future, it seemed as though you weren't sure about anything.
There was this thing that you really wanted to do but your parents were against it, however, you had managed to coax them into agreeing to, at least, let you give the exam. That is right, you wanted to join the Police Academy after your high-school graduation and for your further studies, you considered it to be a pretty good option.
The problem? Your parents weren't so fond about the idea and they certainly didn't like it when you flunked your college entrance exam.
You tried to explain it to them that you were busy preparing for something that you actually wanted to do, but they had dismissed it by saying that you simply were giving them excuses rather than owing up to your mistakes. But that wasn't the end of it, it became worse when your parents got to know how one of their colleagues' daughter passed the college enterance with flying colors. They had reprimanded you, asked you what you were doing.
At that point, you weren't sure what you were doing either. After getting all the snide comments from your parents, you weren't sure if you would be able to clear the exam that you were preparing for.
And hence there you sat in the library, working your pretty head off over formulaes and revision for the exam that you were supposed to be taking the next day.
The day started off fairly well, you going out of your house so that your parents don't make it their goal to direct all their attention on you, but sitting there in the library made you feel overwhelmed.
You looked at the clock,
6:49 P.M.
It read and you quite literally slammed your face against your book. Only 15 hours were left until your exam.
"Ugh, I still have so much to go through!" You whined silently, feeling frustrated at what life had thrown at you. "I wish I had one more day."
You wanted to scream, shout and curse at whoever was responsible for coming up with the idea of exam.
"How long have you been cooped up in here for?" You heard a familiar voice call out to you in concern, you were so busy lamenting that you didn't even hear him coming. You looked up from your book to see Keiji standing in front of you with a frown on his face.
You huffed at him, "Easy for you to say, you already know which university you need to go to."
"Don't you too?" He raised one of his eyebrows behind the glasses that he was wearing.
"I do, but this wasn't something I was studying for the past 3 years, was I? It was the college entrance exam and now I have suddenly changed tracks, I feel like I don't know anything." You said, "Ugh, I don't know what my parents are going to say once it's over."
He sighed as he bent down to be in your line of sight, "Don't think too much about it, you are going to do well. You have been studying hard for it."
"If studying for the exam you want to give just a month prior is something that you consider good, then sure." You protested. "Besides, my parents are going to quite literally disown me if I don't make it. My dad was spewing tales about his friend's daughter yesterday and how I could have at least tried to do better for my college entrance exam."
He hooked his finger under your chin and lifted up your drooping head so that he could look at you better, there were subtle dark circles underneath your eyes from studying so much.
It was clear to him that you had been sacrificing your sleep to catch up with the course. But to him, you looked really pretty, nonetheless. It was your determination that he admired the most in that moment.
He knew, it was a hard choice to give up something you had practised for three years just for the sake of your passion, it was risky but still you had done it and now that you were so close to your goal, he wasn't going to let your hopes go crashing down the roof.
"You know, someone told me that sometimes things are hard but it dosen't mean that they are impossible," He whispered softly, his finger still under your chin in case you decided to turn your face away from him.
"And even if your parents give up on you," he moved closer to you than he already was, his free hand going around you and resting on the Chair that was kept behind you, caging you between him and the chair.
"I will always be there for you," he whispered and if he hadn't been standing so close to you, you would have probably missed what he had said. "I will always beleive in you, always, and you might miss it the first time, but you need to be strong enough to get up and try again. And as long as you do that, you will never fail."
He could see the tears brimming in your eyes and a smile twitching on your face, the smile that he loved so much.
For a fact, Akashi keiji knew that you would always get what you wanted. You worked day and night to pursue your goals. Sometimes, you would fail and sometimes you would succed but he knew that you would always get back up again and do it all over again after you fail.
But pheraphs this time, you had been strong for too long without confinding in anyone. Pheraphs, it was the confirmation you needed to go after the things you wanted, and he would always be there to tell you how you are going to be okay.
It was in that moment when Akashi Keiji saw the small smile on your face, he decided that as long as he lives and as long as you would allow, he would make sure to always be there for you and to give you the push from him that you required. That was the least he thought he could do for you.
He bent down to gently press his lips against yours and you sighed into the kiss, your tense shoulders relaxed and your brain seemed to calm down a bit.
It reminded you how often he would be there to be your anchor, to make sure that you don't loose yourself and in that moment you knew that you loved him.
