Thoughts on P5X so far:

-Why does the new protagonist have no vocabulary? I grant you that words like 'comestibles' are no longer used much, but you can't be a Phantom Thief without 'debonair'. This is why 90% of Wonder's responses are just repeating the last word someone else said. He literally doesn't know what else to say.

-Why did this owl name himself Cattle? Also, they had a chance to make a talking animal who was less annoying than Morgana and they didn't.

-See the below badge from Arcane Bullshit.

-Despite this I'm already fond of these idiots and will be wasting all my non-work hours on this.

Reasons I am a Goro Akechi fan:

1. Funny when mean

2. Frequently mean

3. The kind of character who wakes up one bright, beautiful morning and thinks, "I could end this now. Light a match, pick a road, and by the time they're sifting the ashes for my bones I'll be beyond the reach of anyone who knows my name." And he's actually holding a match when the haze ebbs, but even as he shakes his head sharply and puts it back in the matchbox, the urge is there. It's rooted too deep in him to ever really be gone. He'll return to this fantasy again and again, until one day it's stronger than he is and he disappears, leaving Akira with a handful of ashes.

Akechi switches up the plot a little bit and uses Call of Chaos on Akira. It doesn't go as planned. Instead of dying or having a psychotic break, Akira contracts a short-lived but intense case of Not Giving a Fuck.

This is basically the level of energy I get from @moonlit-maiden every day and I love it. She takes a break from writing poignant stories about the inherent intimacy of vulnerability to hype me up for my latest fic about nipples. It's great. 10/10, would befriend again.
