people think taking things literally is just like

not getting jokes and sarcasm

when in my experience it's more like

thinking you have to fulfill 100% of the exact requirements for something, when everyone else apparently knows it's actually a bit flexible

answering rhetorical questions and everyone thinking you're stupid

SAYING something with a literal meaning and others interpreting it figuratively

following instructions to a T but not knowing how to modify them if something goes wrong

wait that song was talking about WHAT??

doing EXACTLY what someone asked of you and them getting mad that it wasn't what they meant or actually wanted

being terrified of people's empty threats or hyperbole without realizing they didn't actually mean it

memorizing all the connotations of different words so you can use them as precisely as possible, getting frustrated when others are inexact

still not getting jokes and sarcasm

Imagine if

Like-

The entire multiverse of universes was suddenly and abruptly “reset”

No more Underswap, Fell, whatever whatever

Only two left was the “Sans” of creation

And the “Sans” of destruction

Error, and Ink

The question is

Why? Error isn’t exactly the god of destruction, nor is Ink the god of creation.

So why were they left alive?

What is their purpose?

Who destroyed—Reset, the multiverse?

Who chose to leave them alone?

UnderTale will come back into existence soon.

But Error and Ink don’t know that the other exists

Nor do they know Undertale will come back, along with all the other AUs.

They think the world—Their world—has ended

So imagine their surprise when,

Wandering around feeling dead inside-

They bumped into each other

What would happen then?

Would they have an epic battle?

Become best friends?

Lovers?

Stay enemies?

What would happen

If two of the worst enemies in existence

Were left alone together in a never ending white expanse of nothingness

They only have each other

Ink hates being alone

Ink hates white

Error prefers solitude

He loves the emptiness of white

Polar opposites, really

With a similarly opposing goal in the end

Create.

Destroy.

Interesting thought, isn’t it?

I don’t know how many people will see this

But it’d love to see a story or a comic of how you think this story would go
