Hello everyone! This is a quick PSA about this month's mer May! I absolutely love mermaids and mermen, and mer May is the perfect way to celebrate my love of these beautiful creatures! I sadly am no good at drawing mermaids, and I'm so busy with school that I don't have time to anyways, but I've come up with a plan! Instead of drawing a different mer theme for each day of May, I'm going to do mermaid/merman cosplays every weekend of May! I will still have time for schoolwork, but also mer fun! This werkend should hopefully give me enough free time to do my first entry for this wonderful month, so keep an eye out! We can’t allow this to continue. A petition has also been launched by change.org and signed by tens of thousands of people.

It demands a full investigation of all the facts and unlawful repression in Chechnya of the LGBT population and calls for punishment for the ‘guilty parties’ and the end to the practice of extra-judicial violence.
