My birthday art contest!

My birthday isn't until June 4th, but I will be spending that time with my family, so I'm doing my birthday bash now until June 4th.

More info below! Please comment a blue heart so I know you've read all the instructions.

For my birthday, I will be hosting an art contest! To participate, you'll have to draw one of my ocs in this new AU seen above.

In this AU, Isosceles has taken over the world and made everyone in NRC and RSA his personal workers. They slave away, working in their cubicals every day. Everyone in this AU is 18+.

You can draw any one of my twst ocs I've made as a worker in this AU. Their outfits must be 50s inspired, but you can draw them in any scenario you'd like!

Please keep their outfits 50s inspired!

You can choose any of my twst ocs, but if you'd like to add yours too, go ahead! But please keep it centered around my characters.

Please draw the character(s) working! They can be in their cubical, at their desk, or even having their lunch break, but keep it tied to work.

NO AI ART!

Ship art is allowed, but please run any oc x oc by me first. It can either be with your characters or between my characters, but pls notify me first.

There will be only one winner (unfortunately, I don't have the motivation to make a bunch of art for ppl). The winner will receive a fully colored and shaded piece of their twst oc or favorite canon twst character in the style of this AU!

I don't have a great example, but the winner's art will be similar to this Conseb piece where the background is very minimal. Though, the character won't be chibi and will have more detail.

Coming back from my hiatus.

Sorry I just suddenly left without a word. My mental health has been in the dumpster for a long while, but about 2 months ago, it was the worst it's ever been. I was stressing about my trip, struggling with both body and gender dysmorphia, and doing pretty badly in school. Now that I'm back from my trip, my mental health is very slowly improving. I'm trying to find a psychiatrist right now, and my family is thankfully trying to help me get through this very dark time.

But now, I need to be honest with myself and you. This app has been slowly making my life worse. That's partly why I left. Ever since I downloaded Tumblr, I've been trying to force myself to bite off more than I can chew and try to stay relevant as new content for twst get posted. This has just done more harm than good, as I'm burning myself out and drawing has become a chore for me instead of something I enjoy doing. This app has taken the fun away from what I loved doing the most, which was showing my art and hyperfixations to you all. I've been trying to be just like my mutuals to make sure I become popular, but it's only making me feel even more depressed than I already am. Seeing my mutuals be so happy in doing the things they love while I have lost all motivation in something that used to bring me joy is heartbreaking, especially since all of my mutuals have been growing day by day while I struggle to get one art piece out a month, only for it to barely reach half the notes of what my mutuals are getting. I've been tearing myself down trying to become popular, that I've lost all the fun in content creation.

So what now? Will I stop posting entirely? I'm not sure, actually.

I still love twst, but posting here is just making my mental health worse. I've started to draw only for myself, and it's been helping me to get my spark back. I've been focusing on drawing things I want to draw instead of what's popular, and I think I'm starting to like drawing again. Though, I don't think I will post the drawings I've been making, and this will most likely be my last post for a while. I still need to take some time away from content creation to focus on myself.

My birthday art contest is still open, and there's only a little less than a month left, so I'd really appreciate it if you'd join. I will still see all of your amazing art while I'm on my hiatus.

I changed some of Taylor's lore so that him and Holly could be besties. So, Taylor is now born and raised in twst, specifically in the Shaftlands.

I'm trying my absolute hardest to finish this event I've been procrastinating abt since December 💀. Now that I've come up with Holly's design, it's kinda gotten me back to working on my event, so HOPEFULLY, I'll have it out before May.....

Okay ruggster looks so cutesy, but smth is starting to bother me abt these cards now.

WHY TF DO SO MANY OF THEM HAVE THEIR DOGS OUT???????

AND WHY DO SOME HAVE TO SHOW EM TO THE CAMERA??????? THAT'S VERY UNNECESSARY, TWST.

Like, twst seems to have a major problem with giving their characters SOCKS. We've seen it other cards that aren't b-day cards, too (For example, Idias' ceremonial robes). I didn't pay attention to it then, but once the loungewear cards started showing the characters' feet, I noticed it. Why tf does twst like to show these guys' feet so much????? Like, it's not a lot, but it still bothers me that there's 4 loungewear cards that show the characters' feet (5 if ruggies groovy shows his dogs), and 2 of those have their feet DIRECTLY in front of the camera 💀

I know I may seem harsh or that I'm looking too deeply into things, but it's genuinely starting to bother me how many times twst shows these guys fucking feet. And it could be easily solved if they just gave these guys some FUCKING SOCKS. Please tell me I'm not the only person who feels this way...... 😭

Conseb (or lightening witch, I use them interchangeably) is one of my oc x canon ships between Sebek and Constance, who's twisted from Winifred Sanderson from Hocus Pocus. This post will simply be me rambling on about their relationship and sharing facts that won't make it into my oc intros.

◇How did they start?◇

Constance and Sebek both met while Constance and her cousins were vandalizing NRC due to them not being able to get enrolled. This incident immediately put a bad taste in Sebeks mouth when it came to Constance, and when she and her cousins practically bribed their way into NRC's student body, Sebek was obviously frustrated, his feelings on the Sandersons weighing on him. Constance was a trickster and condescending to practically everyone she met... but Sebek couldn't seem to look away from her beautiful face.

A month later, the two had started a somewhat rivalry as Constance tried to win over Malleus with her charm. Sebek kept Constance far away from his precious housewarden, but left him to scold Constance. Nearly every day, he would have to get Constance out of some type of trouble, and Constance always seemed to tease him about being her "knight in shining armor". Sebek would always furrow his brow. He would never voluntarily rescue a cold, cunning... pretty... witch like her!

As the school year went by, Constance would rise to great heights, as she was very skilled when it came to magic. She was infamous at NRC, known for her charm and magical prowess. This infuriated Sebek, who kept a close-minded opinion on Constance. He saw her as his enemy, someone who wanted to rise to great fame only because she wanted to embarrass him. That was... until Halloween.

During the TWST event, Twisted Halloween: Spectral Soiree, Constance and Sebek had to work together. They were both pretty disappointed to be working together, but both knew that they needed to get along in order to save their friends. In the pocket dimension, while Constance and Sebek were fighting ghosts, Sebek got injured. Constance quickly came to his aid, using her magic to make a temporary cure. Sebek had only seen her as an evil trickster up to this point, so seeing how much Constance truly cared about him made Sebek get butterflies in his stomach.

After that night, Sebek quickly developed a crush on Constance. He had finally seen her for who she truly was; confident, cunning, and determined to protect those she cares about. Sebek admired Constance, yet loathed how much he was enamored by her. Constance always teased him whenever he would get flushed around her, and Constance knew Sebek had a crush on her, but she wouldn't say anything.

◇How are they doing now?◇

The two officially became a couple near the end of their first year. Sebek had to announce it to practically everyone he met, making Constance feel a bit embarrassed yet flattered. The two were obnoxiously in love, making everyone in proximity cringe. Sebek made Constance feel like a queen, while Constance made Sebek her king. The two would stay together until their 3rd year at NRC, where Constance decided to break up with Sebek, knowing that their goals and paths were vastly different.

5 years after Constance and Sebek graduated, they met again. Sebek had stumbled into a small town, one where Constance was the mayor. Once Constance saw Sebek, she quickly turned away, still feeling guilty after she broke his heart. Sebek was willing to take another chance with her, though. He knew they had different paths in life, but the two of them still made an amazing team. Sebek walked up to Constance and rambled on about how much he missed her and asked her all sorts of questions. It made Constance feel even more sad, knowing that she still loved him too. The two talked all night, reminiscing on their moments together, but before Constance wished Sebek goodbye, Sebek asked Constance out on a date. Constance looked at Sebek with wide eyes, not sure how she should respond, but after a few seconds, Constance agreed. After the date, the two got back together, and they'd stay together for the rest of their lives.

Along with "sebbie," Constance likes to call Sebek her "prince."

Constance constantly steals Sebek's shirts.

Constance doesn't like males outside of her family touching her, but Sebek is an exception because he always gives her the best hugs.

Hrmm.......... I don't think Iso would care that much for any of MY ocs (he mostly likes @sunnysidesevenup and @harryinramshackle characters, Tilly and Pio), but I think he'd be the most intrigued by Rev? Mainly bc Rev is pretty powerful, but also bc he's a fellow yellow guy 😊

Maybe Iso would be interested in Yuuki too since they're not from twst..... either would work
