I was wondering what was your longest legacy/how many generations it lasted? And did your save get corrupted or did you lose interest? I've never made it past the third generation before starting a new save and I need motivation 😭

The longest legacy I ever played was my Osbourne lepacy and I made it to 10 generations (which even I'm amazed at myself for doing). I stopped playing them because I was losing interest in the family and felt like I was dragging myself to play them just to finish the challenge. But finishing the challenge wasn't enough of a motivator to continue playing them so I stopped.

With my current saves, I like the stories/gameplay that are developing in each save that appeal to me as the player and what motivates me now is continuing their stories rather than the objectives I'm trying to complete (though I do try to complete them).

I also try to select heirs that I can see myself playing through an entire generation and giving them different traits that I don't normally play with to bring fresh air into saves.
