Godwin has always been one of my favorite chracters in KCD2, top 3 for sure, and I felt like it was time to experiment with branching out of landscapes. I'm demonstrably bad anything that isn't a plant, so I kinda hoped using my friend's close-cropped screenshot would help since the shapes were less... complicated.

Seriously, the human form eludes me. I just don't understand how we work.

But anyway, I'm still fucking around and finding out with watercolors, so here we go.

I grew up eating kishka lmao and John is NOT WRONG. It's definitely a taste I never acquired. Also, I absolutely adore the way this artist draws Sam! I always stare at him so much.

Kishke (kishka) is a traditional Ashkenazi food most often cooked inside the Shabbos cholent. I DON'T KNOW IF THIS DISH EXISTED IN THE 15TH CENTURY but I couldn't find anything more suitable for the comic.😭

Right, right, wrote a new fic and forgot to post it here. I'll be on top of this one day. Probably. Anyway, I'm on my bullshit spreading the word of the Martin/Ma/Radzig OT3. Ma deserves a name and personality, Radzig deserves love, and Martin deserves them both. Fight me behind the Denny's about it.

The Horsry Agenda continues. I rewrote the Exodus quest for Horsry, and when I say it made me anxious as hell the entire time, I mean it. I'm not really into rewriting canon scenes word for word or shot for shot, I find it boring both to write and read. So I spent quite a long time trying to figure out how to summarize unchanged events and dialogue such that you still got the important information, but it wasn't just rehashing the original scene entirely. I included so many stupid Chekhov's Guns in this fic...

I also felt at first like I wrote Sam too aggressively, but I have good reasoning for it and I hope it comes through that he's not just an asshole. Also this piece is 13k+ words and I post mainly from mobile and formatting that paste here requires more patience than I have so you'll have to take the AO3 link.
