Cookin up an octonautsxwildkratz AU and I’m drawing the 2 main ocs who’ll be he main characters

CALLING ALL OCTONAUTS FAN WHO ANIMATE AND DO ART

Since i joined the Octonauts fandom I have been making AUs left and right but the one I love with all my heart cannot be written in a google doc, or published on AO3/Wattpad. No, this AU deserves more.

My CIRCUS AU

is one i normally associate with a specific musical film about a circus (bet you can guess which one it is.) I decided to construct the story similar to the film The Greatest Showman, but also different enough where it isn't a direct copy.

In other words, I what I am hoping in launching this project is to make animations of the Octonauts according to the songs (if we can do all of them that would be great but if not, that's also ok!)

BUT, this comes with a couple requests: The story does have ships that I like. which are:

Barnacles x Dashi

Shellington x Kwazii

I am thinking for more ships to add.

THOUGH I want people to know that you can still work on this without having to do any of the parts that require shipping. Since to fill some gaps I plan on making a comic too, they will not be long they are just to fill the holes between songs.

ALSO, I would love others inputs as well! I'm open to suggestion to the story so don't think that when you join the project you have to do everything I tell you to, you can 100% request changes.

LASTLY, There will be sensitive topics talked about and planned on being added to the animations but you will be informed on which parts so you are able to obt out before production.

Okay one thing I desperately need in my life is an au / fanfiction in which the Octonauts meet the Wildcrafts I have two ideas one they can all communicate with each other and the Wildcrafts are just deeply confused about how these animals can talk to them and build fucking machinery, and one in which they cannot communicate and the Wildcrafts are trying to put all of the animals in the proper habitats not realizing that they're actually separating a crew and the Octonauts have no idea why these ape looking things are taking them and separating them, also I desperately need to know what Martin would name all of the Octonauts How close will he get to their actual names I know he's going to be way off of barnacles because there's no way he's naming a polar bear barnacles I think he would name Kwazii Scruffy also since he's a house cat Martin might actually try to adopt him he doesn't have a habitat to go back to, he would also try to adopt Dashie but I have no idea what he would name her

If you want to make a 3000 page fanfic about this AU or you need bigger, obviously supernatural creatures, then I got you covered, I love playing with the idea that a strong enough belief in something can increase its chances of occurring, now in this AU, the supernatural is very real, I might accidentally end up tying it to a new dimension that is based purely on emotion and the mind but don’t worry to much about that, I can help out with writing the fanfics and maybe even making a full on novel so we can get rich off it and take over the universe!

Another person named @factual-fantasy has a similar AU with the same idea that all of Kwazii’s tales are real, I think it’s called octonauts dark waters I can’t really remember it but I like the web comics it has so much potential, I feel like it should be in a novel format, but written in the style of the Dune books by Frank Herbert, the central focus of the books is the impact the horror tales that Kwazii speaks of have on the crew, how it can impact their ability to do their mission of helping sea creatures, it also has the potential of mind controlling entities that corrupt the crew through traumatic experiences and hallucinations and make them freakish monsters.

If you want to make this a web comic AU then go for it, I’d love to see it (almost entirely bc it’s horror octonauts) but I think it would be cool to see it in fanfic/book form to

Korin: Octoplurals. It’s a perfect combination of “Octopus” and “Plural” without any weird linguistic gimmicks to spread confusion over different dialects. Like multiplayer. Two words combined at an adjoining letter which directly translates to what is being described. Octopus plurals.

Peso: That reminds me, how are you and the Captain?

Korin: My wounds still sting from being partially digested but he’s laughing his darn tail off at my frustration. Might whack him in a minute.

For those concerned about the time at which this is being posted: Due to health complications I’ve had to have been taken off my insomnia meds to help sort out some problems. Nothing big just a bite and a couple chunks out of my arms.
