I hate to be argumentative but honestly I truly am not a fan of how some fans are characterizing John Walker and Bob from Thunderbolts.

John is not as big of an asshole as people are making him out to be. He is a very well written character, which I think Marvel writers didn't mean to do. He was supposed to be the anti-hero but in every instance of the TV show he and Lemar are the only ones doing their jobs correctly. In Thunderbolts, at first he is rude to the others, but so are the other characters - they have all been sent to kill someone. As time goes on in the film, he is honestly one of the most helpful people in the movie. He is helpful even when others are rude and demean him.

Bob is not a UwU character at all. He is a grown man who is suffering from mental illness and people who are making him act like a child are continuing the stereotype that people who have mental illness are not to be taken seriously. Bob in the movie is sarcastic, rude, and also wants to be helpful. He is a wonderful character, and should not be treated as if he cannot take care of himself or others.

Please don't over generalize these characters because they really deserve more than just becoming caricatures.

Tony "I have better things to do" Stark who immediately adopts a dog because he overheard Peter saying that he had always wanted to raise one.

Bucky "Get this kid out of here" Barnes who immediately drags Peter into the gym because he saw Peter get hurt and wants to teach him better self defense techniques.

Steve "I have no time for this" Rogers who goes to Peter's report card day whenever Aunt May or Tony are busy. (He secretly gets happy when Peter asks him to go)

Natasha "I don't need this relationship" Romanoff who spoils and treats Peter like he's her kid because she won't ever be able to have her own.

Bruce "I don't have the patience" Banner who drops everything and anything whenever he finds out that Peter is injured. (He patiently listens to Peter's rambling while he's treating him)

Thor "Who do you think you are" Odinson who treats Peter like a little brother because he reminds him of Loki's clumsy personality when they were kids.

Clint "I don't need another kid" Barton who plays catch with Peter at 5:30 pm when he has to stay in the tower for a long time because that's the time he plays with his kids.

Statement from Tristan Kern de Gonzales

Husband of Jonathan Joss

My husband Jonathan Joss and I were involved in a shooting while checking the mail at the site of our former home. That home was burned down after over two years of threats from people in the area who repeatedly told us they would set it on fire. We reported these threats to law enforcement multiple times and nothing was done.

Throughout that time we were harassed regularly by individuals who made it clear they did not accept our relationship. Much of the harassment was openly homophobic.

When we returned to the site to check our mail we discovered the skull of one of our dogs and its harness placed in clear view. This caused both of us severe emotional distress. We began yelling and crying in response to the pain of what we saw.

While we were doing this a man approached us. He started yelling violent homophobic slurs at us. He then raised a gun from his lap and fired.

Jonathan and I had no weapons. We were not threatening anyone. We were grieving. We were standing side by side. When the man fired Jonathan pushed me out of the way. He saved my life.

Jonathan is my husband. He gave me more love in our time together than most people ever get. We were newlyweds. We picked Valentines Day. We were in the process of looking for a trailer and planning our future.

He was murdered by someone who could not stand the sight of two men loving each other.

I was with him when he passed. I told him how much he was loved.

To everyone who supported him, his fans, his friends, know that he valued you deeply. He saw you as family.

My focus now is on protecting Jonathan's legacy and honoring the life we built together.

If your concern is how someone coped with trauma or how loudly they speak when recounting injustice and being ignored by authorities then you never truly cared about my husband.

Jonathan saved my life. I will carry that forward. I will protect what he built.

This is fucking heartbreaking. The cruelty of this is just unfathomable to me, but unsurprising. It seems that everywhere I turn are examples of boundless cruelty. Jonathan was a blessing in life, and may his memory forever be a blessing to us all. I will remember him. And I hope that this June is a fucking riot.

John just gives me the vibe that he'd fall soooo easily for a dare. You tell the guy 'I bet you can't do it' and he just has to prove you wrong. Coincidentally, I also think that Bob would like to push John's bottons even when they're already on a flirting stage. And following the thought that John really likes to be called strong and capable and such things... I suggest their first steamy make out session starts bc they were training, Bob said: I bet you can't knock me off my feet, John proceeded to do so, and Bob said very earnestly with both of them on the floor: Woah, you're really strong; which coincidentally made John flustered as fuck even if he was 110% aware that he had just been baited.
