BEYBLADE CHARACTERS AND WHAT I THINK THEIR MUSIC TASTES WOULD BE

it's exactly what it sounds like. i'm gonna be including both bsb and burst characters here, and obviously it won't be even close to every character (hell there were even a couple who i wanted to include but i just couldn't figure out their vibe or atleast, how to put it into words) so yeah. feel free to add on i guess

BAKUTEN SHOOT BEYBLADE:

takao: ok there's a really specific vibe here but i cannot quite pin down what exactly it is. doing a quick look on wikipedia it appears to be either pop punk or emo pop or just something adjacent to that. society if i knew shit about music genres

kai: once again there's a really specific vibe here but i don't know how to put it. mirror of the world from guilty gear strive hope that helps

max: i say this as someone who once had an owl city phase for a few months, he listens to owl city

hiromi: on one hand she feels like someone who would buy into the miku hype but also going by her reaction to an actual idol singer (as opposed to miku, who is literally just a product) she probably wouldn't? either way i think she'd listen to some of the more well known vocaloid songs, or atleast the more well known ones that aren't super dark

team WHO, yes all four of them: these guys listen exclusively to bdg's halloween cover albums and nothing else

kane: i was doing some stuff today, not today as in the day i'm posting this but as in the day i wrote this bit, and through one hell of a Timing Moment i was inexplicably hit with the thought of "kane weezer listener"

brooklyn: i feel like he'd listen to syudou probably? gut feeling tm, again it's another case of a very particular vibe

BEYBLADE BURST:

daina: as someone who has never listened to my chemical romance. would it be fair to say he probably listens to my chemical romance

orochi: not quite lofi hip hop beats to study to but like, something adjacent to that. like it's still chill but not, like, hyper-chill

naoki: fun fact i keep forgetting this guy's name. anyway he listens to lemon demon

clio: i haven't listened to a lot of fake type, it's not really my taste but i have given it a shot in the past and yeah clio gives off the vibes of listening to their music

suoh: i'm so sorry but he listens to smiling anime person covered in blood music. "what the fuck does that mean" you just need to trust me on this one.

phi: he just straight up does not listen to music. i don't know what his problem is but he just does Not.

gwyn: he seems like he'd be like "yeah this is my favorite song" and then it's just like morse code or some shit like that.

look wakiya x rantaro will always be my favourites ever. they mean everything to me <3

but i think we need to talk about wakiya and sisco more. two arrogant assholes stubborn as all hell yet willing to reluctantly work together when they both can benefit from it?? also theyre just SO DUMB <3 wakiya and sisco in god/evolution is just everything to me theyre just so so stupid and would be so funny together

also i think we also need to talk about wakiya x shu. cause its just such a funny concept to me cause wakiya is so obsessed with beating him in s1 and shu could not care less theyre also so silly. i also think they could have such an interesting bond if the show let them

Blader DJ: the drama witness - GIF edition

Starring Michael Scott (The Office) as Blader DJ, Bladebreakers and Neoborg (initially it was supposed to include everyone but in the process I realised that the big drama is always between these two teams no joke)

Blader DJ when...

The Russian tournament kicked off and Yuriy won against Eddie from the All Stars in literally 2 seconds

Boris/Bryan Kuznestov threw a piece of debris into poor Rei's stomach (spoiler: Boris/Bryan didn't listen to him)

Kai Hiwatari left the Bladebreakers to join the Blitzkrieg Boys and effortlessly stole 7 bit-beasts with Black Dranzer

He found himself in front of an iceberg in the middle of the stadium inside which Yuriy created another dimension to battle Takao while perfectly managing 10 bit-beasts and people all around the world shitted their pants

Kai left the Bladebreakers again one year later to join Neoborg

Takao and Daichi lost their first match of the tournament because they were too busy yelling at each other

Kenny's poor bey fell apart after Yuriy's first Novae Rog

Straight after that Takao appeared out of nowhere, tried to jump over the railing to get into the stadium, Daichi started yelling at him, Takao yelled back that he wanted to play against Yuriy, Yuriy replied he didn't care, Kai commented he was scared and they started to argue, everyone was arguing and big drama ensued while the audience stood there watching

After the drama Daichi defeated Yuriy thanks to Kenny's help, teamwork and mutual trust

In Cairo Miguel really thought he had beaten Kai Hiwatari with just two flames

Kai threw away his scarf destroying half stadium and began cracking his knuckles in the semifinal against Rei

He's about to restart the match between Takao and Kai after they've destroyed the stadium and both collapsed on the ground but he's happy because wow the spirit of Beyblade

After the world tournament he blindly accepted the job at Volkov's BEGA unaware of what it really meant

Kai changed team again and joined BEGA

Yuriy turned out to be a good man who loves beyblade with all his heart and risked his life to stop BEGA and protect all other bladers and fans

The Bladebreakers managed to win against BEGA and yes he should be impartial but deep down he's always rooted for those guys

Bonus: Blader DJ threatening Kai Hiwatari if he dares to change team one more time

hi @heademptyonlyanime here is my gift for the beyblade burst secret santa! um, so i realized it was getting long and i needed to put it into multiple chapters so i only have the first one so far because i was getting behind and wanted to get something at least out before the deadline. but, i PROMISE i will get the second half of it out soon and let you know. so so sorry its not complete but i hope you enjoy the first chapter and i swear the next one is coming soon
