The new Solarballs episode was GREAT As much as I wanted to see the past, I AM SO GLAD WE'RE BACK IN THE PRESENT AND THE URANUS CONTENT?! THE CONTENT OF HIM?! I LOOVVEE URANUS SOOOO MUCH 10/10 episode because I just ADORE how the Jupiter and Uranus interaction went down <333

every 50 I get I'll actually take my vitamins (... whoops)

every 75 I'll actually do my stretches that help my knee (...double whoops?)

every 100 I'll drink a cup of water

150 I'll finish my sigil post

300 I'll try to learn to draw Eagels

400 I'll actually write out my notes on clouds and try to learn when it's gonna rain (I'm pretty okay but I could be better)

I don't know if I just ended up on the wrong side of the Solarballs fandom, but all I see is everyone bloody arguing over literally everything. It's mainly ships, which to be fair, I do also have my opinions on ships, but we don't need to argue over it all of the time. I HATE Uraearth and my reason for that is the fact that I absolutely LOVE Uranus but I despise Earth

But am I going to fight people over it? No! Everyone has their opinions, and that's okay. You know, as long as the opinion isn't harmful

Hell, talking about ships, I really only ship UraX right now. I make it very toxic because that's how I viewed Uranus and X's dynamic in the actual show. I viewed it as X manipulating Uranus. And Uranus, being starved of any positive attention, would've clung to X's words and actions. I know they're toxic and never going to have a happy ending, and that's what makes me like it. Will I fight anyone over this? No!

You're allowed to ship things that aren't canon (within reason, of course. Like, no proshipping, for example). Alvaro isn't making Jupiturn canon? Okay, ship it anyways. Part of fandom is everyone having their own headcanons and views. That's what a community is. If everyone thought the exact same and there was zero variation, that wouldn't be very good (and it'd be slightly concerning considering how big Solarballs is)

I do like complaining and yacking a lot. I'm a big complainer and talker, it's how I grew up since my mum also complains and yacks a lot, but even I know my limits. We shouldn't be getting into petty arguments over things that really don't matter, but you also don't need to listen to me if you don't want to! Have fun, be silly, do whatever! All of this is going to have no real-world impact. Just don't be problematic and you should be grand!

I've kind of stopped interacting with the Solarballs fandom mainly because of all of the negativity I've seen. I mostly just look at fanart and make my own wee headcanons and stuff... and Date Everything has also infected my brain HELP

My dad's nickname is Tony, he hoards tools and random stuff to fix things with, and he's also really good at repairing stuff

Timothy reminds me of myself since I also have an obsession with time (it might be a problem) (I could go on an entire rant about how particular I am with time)

I do have an ex that is decently similar to Chance as well

Fantina reminds me of one of my old friends in the case that she was obsessed with one of my other friends (who happened to be my ex) (they started dating after we broke up) (I think they've broken up now as well)

Hank #3 reminds me of an old friend who was... an experience

Lux also reminds me of the same friend as Fantina since that friend was also obsessed with social media

So I have not played Date Everything, but I DO have a definitive favorite thing about it, and that is the fact that with such a large and diverse cast (which is incredible on its own) so many people encounter characters that look and/or act SCARILY similar to people they know. Every time somebody makes a TikTok about it there are five thousand more people in the comments listing their experiences with it in the comments

And I scroll to the bottom. Every. Fucking. Time. I EAT THIS SHIT UP.

Here are my current findings:

• Everybody has an ex that is exactly like Hector, Chance, or Mac

• Dorian, Tony, Abel, and Teddy look like people's dads or friends of their dads. Additionally, Hector shares a name with several people's dads

• On the flip side, Wyndolyn, Celia, and Zoey remind several people of their moms

• The Hanks can be anybody. I've seen exes, but also uncles, cousins, roommates, brothers– fucking anybody. Hank #3 is the most common one to get singled out for this

• Dirk, Harper, and Fantina tend to get the ex association as well, but those are usually more personality than appearance based

• Sophia shares a name with several people's sisters, making her encounter horrifically awkward

• Several people with weird, distant familial connections to Elvis or Johnny Cash say interacting with Johnny Splash has been an interesting experience

• Somebody also said that Jean Loo reminded them of their dad. This isn't like a common occurrence, I just wanted to say sorry to that person in particular
