it's Lux/Jinx primarily but throughout the series the tension between Zaun and Piltover builds and builds until it boils over into a war. Genuinely one of the best fic series I have ever read, cannot recommend it enough

We have so many stories about whimsical heroic cops (or super-cops) that I think, for equality’s sake, we need more stories about whimsical heroic master thieves. I don’t mean “stories about selfish rascal criminals who you like even though they’re doing bad things,” and I don’t mean “stories that want to say Deep things about Society or carefully explain why their protagonist’s crimes are morally good enough to make them an exception from other thieves.” I mean stories where it’s just completely taken for granted that thieving is inherently Heroic and Noble. You know how superhero stories generally take it for granted that “crimefighting” is a heroic noble thing to do, even if it can be taken in bad directions? THAT, but for thieving. Like, maybe there are bad thieves, but they’re portrayed as not Understanding the Moral Code of a True Master Thief. That’s what we need, for Equality.

To be fair to those claims, they would technically be tool assisted runs.

Lightcannon has survived AND thrived over a total combined footage of 15 minutes. I understand the fears, but Lightcannon has primarily been a fandom ship. We'll be fine.

My biggest fear as a lightcannon shipper is riot throwing away Jinx's: is evident that I'm love with my best friend and I'm a queer mess out of the window because of how popular tb has become and SG skins selling like crazy or taking the: you are my most important person in the world and I can't do this without you Jinx from Lux because of riot's weird obsession with the blonde x blonde look alike ship ...like I'll be devastated 😞

It seems America are seeking to have DEI initiatives rolled back across Europe. There have been reports that letters have been sent to companies in Europe informing them that the Trump administration’s crackdown on diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives also applied to foreign firms looking to do business with the US government.

This now seems to have crept into the public sector, with the vice-mayor of Stockholm saying the letter was sent to the planning office.

You know there was another person who wished to spread his own political beliefs and harm across Europe. Hitler.

He didn't succeed in the 1940s. Elon and Trump won't succeed now.

I hope those who couldn't vote for Kamala because of her stance on Israel are pleased with their choices. The world is being given to rich white men, and anybody who doesn't fit into that category is being left behind.

We're drowning in three to four generations of people so pants-shittingly terrified of ever being wrong that half of everyone has constructed a worldview wherein they never even consider the possibility that they could be wrong and the other half behaves like one wrong move will make anything or anyone explode violently into a million irreperable pieces. I don't think it works guys

gonna’ be honest. fighting for assisted suicide for mentally ill people before fighting for something like free and widely available dance classes … community centers … free transportation… expanded meals on wheels… etc. is the kind of praxis that accurately shows you just want mentally ill people fucking dead. there’s nothing liberating about it. it’s convincing disabled people that they should act on their illness and simply rid the world of the burden that is themselves instead of doing literally anything else to help them.
