The general vibe of the group will remain the same, but there will be some adjustments to the plot, characters, etc. This blog will remain as an archive as I adjust worldbuilding and such but eventually I’ll put up a redirect page.

is this roleplay ever coming back?

Hello there =) I’m not sure how long ago this was sent as this is my first time logging in in weeks, but I’ll respond anyway! 

I very much appreciate your question and your interest in The Sacred. Unfortunately, as of right now, there are no concrete plans to bring The Sacred back. I hesitate to say that The Sacred is closed entirely, as it’s possible that the roleplay will reopen again at some point, but the very nature of the roleplay itself [small & niche, with a limited number of characters] made it difficult to keep activity high and attract newer characters.

If I were to reopen The Sacred in the future, I would likely want to change up a few things and possibly have a co-admin to help out when I’m not available. That said, there are no plans to do so in the future and if that ever changes, I will of course post something here on the main.

Again, I really do thank you for your interest and I hope you are having a marvelous week!

Hello everyone!

After taking everyone’s thoughts into consideration over the past week, I’ve decided to put The Sacred on hiatus until the beginning of summer. The niche aspect of the roleplay, when coupled with everyone’s schedules, has led to decreased activity and I think it is best to take a short break for the time being.

I am incredibly grateful for all of you for sticking with me and this roleplay for so long. It has been a dream to write with each and every one of you.

In late spring/early summer, I will gauge interest and, if I decide to reopen, will potentially do a plot revamp and a facelift to the main theme and graphics. Any person who is currently in the roleplay will be welcomed back to play their characters without needing to reapply. I will post more information about that when the time comes.

In the interim, you are more than welcome to continue writing your characters. I am so thankful for each and every one of you -- you have truly humbled me with how much heart you’ve put into this roleplay and into your characters.

I will be keeping the ooc discord and ooc tumblr chats open at this time [feel free to post there; I hope our small community continues to engage] and you can always find me on discord if you’d like to chat.

Again, thank you so much for making these past months such a great experience!

what's activity like?

Hello there! In general, the RP is not as fast-paced as some of the others out there. This is due in part to the highly literate aspect of the RP and the fact that the majority of our members are in school or work full time [sometimes both]. All of our members are extremely committed, however, even if they cannot do replies constantly!

I’ll be honest -- there’s currently a bit of a lull in activity, due to people being on hiatus and personal life responsibilities, though I expect that to change as things pick back up. There is usually at least one person around in the OOC throughout the day, though, and everyone is very welcoming and dedicated to the RP overall!

Hello. Before applying, in the rules about the character limit and waiting 2 weeks. Is that 2 weeks, every day, you are consistent on replies. Or does not have to be every day replies? I just wanted to understand. Thank you.

Hello! It doesn’t have to be daily responses, though it should be fairly consistent activity without being on activity check or an extended hiatus. I hope that helps!
