An accomplished doctor, a scientist, a revolutionary inventor; there are indeed many ways to describe the one known as Wei Wuxian.

”He’s a genius!” Some say. Capable of seemingly impossible feats of deduction, equipped with musical talent, martial prowess, and a feel for the arts, his skills are indeed not to be underestimated. With clientele going as high as royalty, there’s no question of his reputation is earned.

”He’s a discrace!” Others say. Apopted into the prestigious Jiang family at a young age, he went from rags to riches overnight. ”Some lowborn, a son of a servant, mingling with the high class? Preposterous!”

With the aid of a formal education, generously provided to him by the Jiang family, he went on to become a doctor. However, while most thought he might simply devote himself to a life of medicine, a respectable yet appropriate job for a man of his station, his interests suddenly shifted to the sciences but a few years in.

”He’s a madman!” Many said. As tragedy struck the Jiang family, Wei Wuxian found himself a suspect of the murder of the Jiang patriarch. Though he managed to clear his name, no culprit was ever found, and so he was formally cut off from the Jiangs, with the implication of guilt on his back.

”Madame Jiang would have whipped him the death,” It was said, ”Had not Miss Yanli pleaded with her!”

”He’s eccentric”, Most say. Perhaps unexpectedly, Wei Wuxian’s next interest seemed to be tangeld in the world of crime. He spent much of his time as a police officer, with even rumours of a hefty promotion in the air when yet again, he changed course, and started his very own detective agency.

”He’s also very, very handsome and devistatingly charming!” Wei Wuxian suddenly exclaimed, startling Mo Xuanyu from his thoughts.

”A real lady killer! A serial seducer! A man magnet!” He continued, seemingly uneffected by Mo Xuanyu’s judging stare.

”You must remember those parts, A-Yu, they are of upmost importance! That is what compels your audience the most, you understand?” Wei Wuxian said, twirling his walking cane in a flamboyant manner.

”I will make sure to record your unrepentant narcissism in detail.” Mo Xuanyu responded, deadpan.

”Betrayed! By my own disciple!” Wei Wuxian shouted into the night air, clutching his heart dramatically as he did so. Wei Wuxian’s talent for the theatrical was indeed also indesputed, Mo Xuanyu thought.

”How did you even know what I was thinking about?” Mo Xuanyu asked, half curious for an anwser, half wanting his Master to simply get off the ground from playing dead.

Ever excited to explain, Wei Wuxian got off the ground with some effort not unnoticed by Mo Xuanyu and anwsered, with his walking cane struck on the ground and his eyes dancing with mirth:

”It’s all but simple observation, Xuanyu.”

I originally posted this on twt, but decided to also post it here!! This is a part of a shoujo manga au i came up with on the fly while making this comic!

I would say this comix sort of acts as a prologue? Like, if this WERE a manga, this would be the first chapter (where the protagonist, Noelle, realizes their feelings & jumpstarts the main plot of silly hijinks and shenanigans) so any comic after this one can be taken as happening AFTER the events of this one, unless stated otherwise!! (Like for example, how susie & kris became friends and so on..)

(which was jumpstarted by goomyloid’s shoujo manga au kriselle on twt which I absolutely recommend checking out)

(Basically, everything is beutiful and nothing hurts au, except the dreemurrs are still divorced, though on better terms)
