Is there any age requirement?

I'm thinking about it. I dont really think age requirements ever stop someone from playing and not all people are as mature as others, so I'll probably just put a disclaimer with all trigger warnings at the beginning or on each chapter to clarify that there is mature content and the person playing agrees to see it.

I do wanna point out that the story deals with many adult topics. Some characters in the story have heavy mental health problems that will be addressed. Theres will be mentions of substance abuse, violence and possibly sex (nothing very graphic and at the player's choice) so yeah. Not very child friendly, the story does start with a murder.

Seer: creative, unflirty (in the sense that they are very shy and get nervous), they also get almost every hobby trait cause they are very curious, good.

So how do Seer's powers work exactly?

Ohh I so love this ask (worldbuilding is my poison).

Basically there is a religion in Ecryria (they worship Time which is divided in Past, Present and Future) Seers are children that are born with the ability to see the future (or rather, what the future should be, cant say more without spoiling.) People believe Time, Future more specifically, has blessed Seers. It is both a blessing an a curse.

Untrained Seers can't control their visions and so, they start having involuntary visions since they are born. When they Visionate their eyes turn white. Many families try to hide their Seer children in order to not have them snatched away but the Temple has eyes everywhere and hiding a Seer is treason and punished by death.

Once in the Temple they rise them in the ways of Time and teach them how to control their powers. Once they graduate (passing a deadly trial) they enter the Seer Order and are assigned Prophecies to supervise. They are the branch of the Temple most in contact with the High Priestess (a kind of Pope) and she can communicate with them via telepathy if needed be.

In Ecryria there is a Mineral called Thirinium which allows people to travel between worlds but allows Seers to do magic as well, they are also thaught this.

Seers hold a high station, many times surpassing that of nobles and have much influence, sometimes they are even feared.

Cryptid aren't just any supernatural creature, they're more standardized stuff like Bigfoot, Mothman, The Jersey Devil, The Loch Ness Monster, etc!! Not a big deal, just clarifying!!

Hey! ^^ I know what they are but I really dont have any knowledge of them and haven't heard of many save maybe Bigfoot and Nessie (I'm not from the US) and since I didnt know enough to answer correctly I did the next best thing 😬

If the ROs were Cryptids, what would they be?

I think some of the ROs already qualify as cryptids? I dont know I'll try to answer as best I can.

Seer: They are already kind of a cryptid? If they were something more "official" it would be a witch or warlock.

Hand: Okay, they would totally be a cryptid if shapeshifters were not a species in this universe. If he was to be anything else it would be a werewolf.

Nuala: A valkyrie personality wise or most likely a Phoenix since she can come back to life.

Hemal: The Huma bird (Persian bird of Paradise) They were said to never touch the ground and if someone sees them, they take their pain and sickness away.

Oskar: He would be a basilisk. He would hate it with all his soul, but he would be a basilisk.

The Second Prophecy: Progress Update

Hey, long time no see. Just wanted to pass by and say that I'm not abandoning this project. Its one of my happy places and safe havens. I love it way too much to abandon it.

I'm still making progress but I have to teach myself Twine which isnt easy on top of my classes so yeah...its gonna take time. However I'm happy cause slow progress is still progress. Oh, also if any of you are any good with Twine/graphic design could you DM me? Just in case I need help figuring something out, I sometimes have doubts and dont wanna bother anyone. Thanks in advance!

Other than that, each time I edit the contents of the prologue I seem to get new ideas so the good part is there will be more content!! I'm planning to do diferent POVs from the ROs/main characters point of view and I'm so excited about that!!
