quantum physics side of tumblr (or @hankgreen if he’s still out here on tumblr), how are we standardizing clocks and time when time literally goes faster and slower based on like proximity to the earths core 🤔 like who’s clock are all our devices tuned into? how and why does that work? won’t my kitchen stove be running slower than my cellphone if im at a lower altitude than the clock my cellphone is receiving data from?

straight ppl rlly are absurd. like completely delusional half the time. u be minding ur business and a str8 will find out a gay persons in the room and just stress out. u cant pick lint off they shoulder without them being like “ahh! no sorry i dont go that way” just pressed. like baby no one said anything about that. i literally JUST met you and have yet to even consider forming an opinion on ur being. hitting on u is the farthest thing from my mind. in fact, u the only one in the room who was thinking about me hitting u, and i think u should unpack that! but like on ur own time.

no no no but what i think you’re ALL missing out on is that she perfectly encapsulates the lukewarm liberalism of the 20-something white woman. her whole thing is her image. she has to maintain appearance and thts as deep as her empathy goes. she is dating a misogynist, but stays with him for the exposure. she considers dumping him, not for the misogyny itself but in case she wants to go into politics. she will say empty words of empathy towards helen/andi in the bushes but wouldnt say anything in public 6 minutes earlier to support her where it matters. she also is the first to accuse helen/andi of murder, despite their purported camaraderie. shes just as calculating and subtly racist as the rest of them, but knows how to play her cards so she can play innocent at the end of the day, which is her plan from the jump. such strong cognitive dissonance it swings back over to duplicitousness. whisk(e?)y’s a perfect caricature of the perpetually online young white femme of average college age in the united states. its beyond dumb blonde, its wielding dumb blondness as a tool/weapon. i agree shes a great character but i wouldnt mistake her complexity for like morality and empathy

none of you are talking abt whiskey which truthfully is such a damn shame. she was introduced and i thought she was just supposed to be the dumb blonde girlfriend - arm candy. but then she ran into helen and we immediately see how badly she wants to do more, but she feels trapped to go along with what duke does in order to build her future. shes also the only person to look at helen, who she believes is andi, and say thats shes sorry, that she was fucked over and didnt deserve what happened. dont look at me and say this character wasnt fucking fantastic

Post reveal tennis - but they’re not like, together (yet). HC that even post reveal, I think it would still be a slow burn. Anya’s confused but happy that they seem to be getting along fine… there’s no accidents so far.
