Soooo I don’t care for half those people and my daughter did win her trophy and get a big chance for a bright future but she was just an accessory to Johnny’s win because if she hadn’t decimated Zara (as she deserved tbh) Iron Dragons would have won.

Like the things I wanted happened: Cobra Kai winning, Tory being world champion and loved for who she is, Kim getting her dojang and her grandfather fucking off and Keenry endgame but I did not like HOW it happened.

Literally HOW did everything happen? Where are the much needed conversations? The kids dealing with their trauma? Tory and Robby getting back together? The aftermath of Kreese’s death?

It was a decent final but it felt rushed and incomplete and should be fixed immediately so y’all better get to write those fanfics

Word train challenge

These are from a new one shot, the next part of the Corporate AU, the aftermath of the Sekai Takai and the last part of my own version of Season 6 part 2.

My word was KNOCK and believe it or not, the hardest part was choosing the ones I would use:

K: Kwon was prone to staring people down until they cracked, and as Tory would never, they spent several moments just glaring at the other while Yoon sighed in the background.

N: " No making anyone bleed on my mats till 7, Victoria" Mike’s voice echoed through the cage.

" I don't care how annoying Lil Lawrence is "

O: One of her therapists said, do you feel unworthy of love? Is this why you push it away?

Another one asked if she thought she deserved to be punished for all the bad things that happened to her.

C: "Celebrations?"

The blonde raised an eyebrow, kind of lost for a bit. He moved his head to the side, like he always did when couldn't believe people had the ability to be this dense.

" Tory, it's your birthday."

K: Kenny looks at her sadly, the way everyone seems to be doing lately. As though her limp hair and hollow eyes are something to be pitied.

If I see one more person blaming Tory for joining Cobra Kai and “”” betraying “”” Miyagi-Do after none of those people have a fuck about her lost and grief of her MOTHER I’ll commit a felony.

Man writing for the show after the P2 clusterfuck has been a nightmare so this one might take time and won’t be as good at the other things I wrote but alas, here’s a sneak peek:

“Listen to me. There are so many people who love you." His voice is so soft and full of conviction that she almost believes him. 

"They are stronger and more understanding than you think. You keep so much in here," he says, gently tapping against her forehead before his hand comes to rest right over her heart.

 "And this is always so heavy. Those burdens, Tor...they're inevitable with life, but there are burdens that you keep to protect other people, and there are burdens that you keep to protect yourself; to hide the ugly things you think no one else can stand to see. And it’s going to get bigger and noisier and it’s going to drown you if you don’t start letting some of it go."

Every thread of regret in Tory's body ties itself into a knot in her throat. She can barely swallow, barely breathe. She can't stand the weight of the honesty in Robby’s eyes, but she can't look away, either.

i see you’re a tory fan / defender in one of of your posts (me too), so i wanna ask you- how did you find her in part 2 as well as her arc.. i wanna discuss this so bad with someone to see if anyone feels the same way i do.

i genuinely believe she was done dirty in part 2 for a pelothra of reasons. i would even go as far to argue that her character has BEEN being done dirty.

Tory’s always the best character in this show, no matter how much they butcher her arc, but it was a disappointment as you said. Her grief, her promises to her mother and need to provide for her remaining family, the driving forces behind all her choices has been sidelined for a romantic plot that don’t get me wrong, I liked because that’s the best romance written for this show, but still.

There’s no depth to her connections with her senseis or teammates and no fucking explanation of how the hell did she actually end up there. Her fights are cool, but God forbid she is shown to be better than Samantha or Zara now.

Daniel and Johnny did not care about what was going on with her, Sam, Devon and Robby made her grief about them and their team, and the bit about all of them being there for her irked me: the girl left in tears after becoming an orphan while yall handed karate headbands.

So yeah, she’s fantastic but has the possibility of being so much more if they stopped introducing rapists and useless characters during their LAST season.

Thank God fan fiction exists.

I’m such a big Keenry shipper but the whole Zara thing has ruined all the angst for me.

First and foremost, I’m a Tory defender and if you look at it, from her perspective, she’s been cheated on with the one girl that she despises AGAIN while already going through the hardest moment of her life. Robby said she only trust herself and while that’s true, the world keeps giving her reasons to do so. No amount of “it’s not even a choice “ you are the one that I love will erase that.

And IF they ever acknowledge that he was SA or he didn’t do anything with that girl ( which God, I hope so. Robby fell asleep after throwing up and whining about how much he loved Tory and how that guy with the stupid haircut would never get her like he does ), he still chose to believe a virtual stranger that it’s known for stirring shit rather than his girlfriend who asked for a pause while she grieves the death of her mother and tries to win this competition that could make or break her life.

It SUCKS. A clusterfuck, if you ask me.

THEY MADE KWON A LAME ASS 2 D VILLAIN AND THEN KILLED HIM, THEY MADE THAT FUCKASS ZARAH PERSON SA ROBBY AND NOW TORY THINKS SHE GOT CHEATED ON AGAIN!!!!! AND I HAVE TO WAIT 4 MONTHS TO SEE MY CHILDREN LOSE BECAUSE THERES NO WAY THEY MAKE SAMANTHA AND MIGUEL LOSE.

Things I wanna see in Cobra Kai S6 part 2

Since I'm on a Cobra Kai streak since they dropped the new photos, I want to make a list of things I wish to see in part 2. And then check if they become true 🙏🏻 (I'm writing this before they drop the trailer)

Alright, HAJIME!!

1. Kwon's backstory and character development

I don't want him to be a 2D villain. Every character until now has had at least some internal conflict and reasons behind their behaviour (even bullies like Kyler), so please, PLEASE, give the guy an interesting background. If we have to tolerate Daniel and Johnny love-hate every season, I want my little Kdrama too 😂

Also, if they're going to add even more secondary characters (who, according to the leaks, will be kind of villains too), I need them to focus on Kwon first.

2. Tory defending herself from whatever BS the Miyagi Do's will tell her

Yes, she's not well at all after her mother's death and yes, Cobra Kai isn't the way to heal from her wounds... But if I hear one of them getting angry at her or calling her a traitor when none of them went after her, I'll be kicking 540s in my room................

I would also love to watch her train in Korea with the new team, giving Kim a "TAKE THAT B*TCH, who wouldn't have lasted one minute in your dojang back home??" (In season 5 Kim told that to Tory and Devon) and watch her training her hardest and truly fighting and earning her position as captain, not to appear magically in Barcelona as sensei Kreese's pet ('cause I don't think neither Kwon nor Yoon will like that).

They can even do this as flashbacks before each round of the tournament. But... I'm kind of losing hope on this because of the producers' comments. I write it here just in case :(

3. Johnny being a real father to Robby

I understand his main interest is defeating Cobra Kai, especially now that they know Kreese is back. But Robby will need him more than anyone during this tournament: the poor boy has the pression of being the team captain in a televised international competition, he needs to win the Sekai Taikai because that's the only way he could be offered a better future after being in juvie for so long, his girlfriend (ex?) has been MIA only to appear with their nemesis' team........

I've seen an interview where Xolo said Miguel's going to be Robby's main support during part 2. And while I like that, I still feel that, for once in his life, Johnny should step up and put the son he abandoned for so many years first. That would be his REAL redemption arc, more than being sensei for his own version of Cobra Kai.

4. Demetri and Hawk fixing their problems FAST

I understand them both, but their argument seems like the typical post-high school crisis where you have to separate yourself from your lifelong friends because (surprise!) each one wants and must follow their own path and dreams.

So for me it's alright if they solve this with just one conversation after winning together some round during the Sekai Taikai. I don't need something like one of them DYING or ending up in the hospital (though that's probably what will happen to Demetri seeing the X-men-mutants they've chosen as their rivals........).

In short, for me the character arcs of Hawk and Demetri are already complete and do not need more drama. They can become secondary characters, although I love both actors and I'll miss them so much :')

5. Bring back #MiguelSeason 1!!!!

I don't think there's anyone who doesn't want this to be honest haha. But in my case what I mean is I want the concentration and power he had back then, not him playing dirty or seriously injuring someone.

I want FULL POWER Miguel, the ultimate version of this young fighter we saw growing each season, using every style he's learned and making it his own.

And who knows, I won't be mad if he wins after all, but that only if Robby gets an awesome final character arc.

6. Sam and Tory supporting each other even if enemies on the tatami

These girls have already apologised to each other and now Sam understands Tory's situation and mental state without any judgement, so I want Tory to find selfless support in Sam and to learn how to confide in her.

And I want Sam to fully embrace Mr.Miyagi's teachings of forgiveness, balance and strength.

And what better way to do it than by applying them to your former arch-nemesis?

EXTRA POINTS if they fight together against Zara or any other enemy!

7. Silver NOT coming back in this second part...

At least until the end of the last episode.

We have villains already. We have NEW characters (villains?) already. And as much as I like chaos and drama, I don't think it will be easy to follow a story where everyone is against Miyagi Do lol

They can save him for the finale.

... Plus I just can't stand that dude :'), I prefer Kreese as an antagonist all the way.

8. Sassy arguments, teenage drama and funny scenes

I already read that part 2 is gonna be very action-oriented. But Cobra Kai is much more than amazing stunts and choreographies (which I love, don't get me wrong). I just don't want them to forget the potential of having a hotel and a sports park full of troublesome teenagers, with even more troublesome senseis.

They're participating in a hard competition abroad, but that doesn't mean they can't have some comedy scenes here and there like the ones they have in the Valley.

Idk, you have a Korean dude with an anime-looking hair and an American dude with a freaking American flag in his mohawk!!!!! Someone has to make at least a comment about that.

9. The characters eating Spanish food or trying to speak Spanish

This one is personal hahaha

I grew up in Spain so I need to watch them tasting a tortilla or trying to buy something and getting scolded by a Spanish "abuela" (grandma).

BONUS POINTS if Johnny Lawrence drinks the typical beer from there (Estrella Galicia). (Know this won't happen as it would be free advertising haha).

10. Amanda and Carmen being the queens they are, finally happy and in peace as every karate freak (including their respective husbands) are booked and busy at the other side of the world

The Devil's Water

"Tell me the truth once in your life." With another step forward, he's right in her space and she doesn't step away, even though her eyes are brightening when she looks up. "Tell me that it really didn't mean anything."

Tory puts a hand on the center of his chest to stop him from getting closer but that only spurs him on, heart racing under her palm.

"Tell me you didn't stay up thinking about it like I did." He's so close now. The air between them feels heavy, static, like when lightning strikes. "That you didn't toss and turn, that you don't feel for me what I-"

Tory kisses him.

She closed her eyes and drowned in the past and present as they met right here, right now, in front of a fourth floor elevator at a hotel in Barcelona, as she gets surrounded by the arms of the boy who taught her to love for the first time. She wanted to want him gone, she really did, but he made it too damn hard.

How do you write about a karate tournament when you don't know a thing about the sport? You skip right to the romance.

Here's my take on what's going to happen to Tory from now on, because I don't trust these writers to do a good job

On the back of the hurricane (that started turning when you were young)

She's tired. So achingly tired. She wants to be done, to simply not be here anymore, in a way that scares her deep to her core. Chills pulse through her body every few minutes. She focuses too long on a thought and feels herself tear up again. Her fingers shake, she can't breathe, Kreese's words float around her head like chlorine gas, and she doesn't recognize the body she's in.

Never once has Tory missed being her former self, except for now. She wishes she could actually, really hate the whole of Miyagi Do, so much that she'd plan for revenge, that she'd fight them, that she'd enlist everyone she had some power over to fuck them up, but she's ultimately not that person anymore. She doesn't even have the energy to be that person.

She doesn't know who she is. She doesn't know who she was. She doesn't know what she's going to become.

She wishes, desperately, to not have to deal with it any more. And then she sees the ledge .
