Me when that one relative is talking about a trans person and stops to think about the pronouns, realises that they’re (mostly) in the company of people who misgender trans people on purpose (or just don’t care if the aforementioned relative does) and then proceeds to misgender that person for the entire fucking conversation when they’re perfectly okay with gendering them correctly when surrounded by a majority of people who they respect and who will politely interject or even just gender that person correctly when they’re talking.
